The language of spirituality, most religious leaders tried to teach it but either themselves or their followers could not keep it pure, the politics of sense of belonging got the best out of them, that is why even this day and age religions are at war with each other yet politics aside, the spirituality in human individual existed right throughout the history and even now regardless of the belonging religion.
The spirituality is a knowledge no one can patent, but religions are just exclusive to one particular group thus are patented and political. They have their own set of rules, traditions and customs, if you follow you have their identity, for instance Muslim, Christian, Jewish. If you don’t follow you are not under their umbrella thus you are an out sider. This is as political identity as it gets, yet there are a whole lot of other people out there, so it does not count them thus it can’t be spiritual.
If you disobey, or even question their rules, you can be kicked out or shunned regardless of you being spiritual. You are counted as a drop in the ocean, or meaningless yet in spiritual world where you are directly working for God, you are counted as an ocean in a drop. There are no boundaries for you and there is always a room for you to evolve, you can question and make amendments according to the needs of the time you exist.
God’s existence depends on the existence of living human beings because all the spiritual work is done by the living human beings. Religions on the other hand preach that you live your life for the after life no one has the clear evidence so we are ordered to not to question and blindly believe.
I would rather be a question asking, evolving and independently responsible being, instead of relying on the umbilical connection of the past related frozen in time archaic knowledge. Unfortunately today, there is a continuum of past related clashing, killing and robbing each other of love. The groups of people egotistically still trying to prove that their ancestors were right, thus they themselves are right compare to everyone else, especially when it comes to God. They even claim that they are going to heaven and everyone else will go to hell just like their ancestors thought and taught. They got mummified and took their belongings along just to be robbed by the explorers and archeologists.
Hell and heaven is created here by the human beings while alive, the appreciation of things like milk and honey or the bricks of gold mean nothing when you are in a spiritual world so if you put things in perspective this life becomes more important than after life. If you can’t enjoy living years because you want more and more in your living years. You worship to ask more of your comfort, safety and control in this life because you are not content, how would you be able to change yourself when you are dead, because habits don’t die. So if you are not happy in living years, after life would be the same. Even God would not be able to find you happiness and contentment, if you don’t learn about the happiness and contentment in your living years.
As an individual if we are taught to be better than others, we need to look at the facts of being a human being. We all get hungry, eat, get sick, old and die the same way, so what is the big fuss about being different. If you are beautiful to look at, are rich, belong to whatever race, nation or religion, eventually everything and I mean everything will have to be left behind. If everyone thought their personal life as a personal project there would be lot more peace in the world. It is only when we think about ourselves as an extensions of family, race, gender, community, nation or a religion, things start to go wrong. God has nothing to do with all the world’s traditions, customs and rules of certain group of people, whether its coming from the nationalism or religions these rules are politically created to have control on the ordinary joe.
The less sense of freedom you have more sense of belonging, thus an internal imbalance can make you choose to do harm to yourself in the form of anorexia or self mutilation and in extreme harm other by suicide bombing in the name of belonging group. Am I saying that sense of belonging is wrong and sense of freedom is right? not at all I am far from it. I just am against the imbalance and lack of personal responsibility. As an individual we come in life with the blessing of the free will and the ability to choose so the responsibility lies on the individual’s shoulders. There is no ifs or buts about it because all the law and order would lose its reasoning and importance if everyone of us hide behind God, religion, nationalism or the sense of belonging to certain group of people. The real belonging of human beings is to belong to humanity as a whole thus become able to override the rules of belonging groups when it comes to the politics of the belonging group. Yes even if it comes to nationalism and religion.
Always remember we all have same ending because of mortality, it actually should be enough to keep us all humble, but we all seem to exist, not only to an individual level, we exist as a group as well. Most of our spiritual crimes and social problems are related to the politics of our sense of belonging to our respected groups and their prejudice based politics.
I believe our upbringing is influenced by our nationalism and religious extreme, which makes us all somewhat prejudice. We are taught to be entitled, so when things don’t go our way or we start to lose control, whether it is sickness and age related or just from the bad luck our attitude changes for the worse yet it should be for the better. You can see the older folks are a lot more prejudiced then the newer generations, I find it strange because as we get older we should become wiser and more forgiving yet most of our elders have been victims of prejudice to the point they openly express it.
Last week a mother walked in the walk in clinic and demanded a white doctor for her sick son, yet at the same time Canada is trying to reverse the same racism against the native population to correct the wrong done hundreds of years ago. Is it a co-incidence? I don’t think so, it is happening throughout the world.
Prejudice is wrong and is a spiritual crime, no mater which way you spell it. It is the biggest black mark on the face of humanity, yet still there is a segment of population whom want to wear it with pride, yet still there are people whom are trying to clean that off, but it is hard to get rid of, because of the politics of insecurities inspired by the sense of belonging. It is still carried on by the people like Donald Trump and the woman in the walk in clinic. If you look into the native populations they want the equal human rights but are still looking for the sense of belonging to native population as a special case. To me that does not solve the problems we face, it is still in the same vicinity of prejudice. We all want our respected belonging groups to be in power yet the individual is most abused by the belonging groups.
Personally I believe it is closely related with the conflicting education we all receive from our belonging groups, as long as we preach group mentality, groups will always exist thus our conflicts.
You can’t just sew a seed of prejudice and expect to harvest unity of humanity.
Just look at our prejudice, it is taught in every house hold, that you are a Canadian, Christian, Muslim, black or white right from the get go. Same thing is taught all over the world. Especially these days events like Brexit and election of Donald Trump are clear signs of taking care of special interests. If you don’t think it is not prejudice related you need to think out side of the box of finance.
Looking at the names of Arabs you will find even more prejudice, from the family you are named as so, son of so, son of so and so and then the name of the family. You go to India you still can find cast system related problems, lovers can’t get married regardless of desire . Then look at the gender and sexual identity control, if you want to dig in a little deeper or further look into our sports the prejudice is taught and ingrained in our core, so it is going to be an up hill battle to become an unbiased human individual.
Sure healthy competition can raise the level of sports, technology and even war weaponry and help us to excel in business but claiming or feeling better than others, just because we beat the other team is plain and simple prejudiced. Being better takes a lot more than the sports, war weaponry, race, color, gender, nationality or being a good follower of a religion. It takes an individual character of a CEO of his/her life whom can distinguish the difference between spirituality and the rules of a political religion.
Education can bring one out of the shells created by the politics of sense of belonging. If you accept and believe or even use the politics of sense of belonging as authority, you have given up your personal individuality, yet God had created each and everyone of us as an individual who’s umbilical cord has been cut from the birth. We all are able to use our free will, that should be a proof enough to be an individual, ironically when we sacrifice our life or take someone’s life in the name of belonging group we make a choice as well.
You are able to function perfectly and independently but you may choose to believe differently, because of the out of control sense of belonging. For a personally insecure individual, sense of belonging is not only valuable it is essential, so people group up. Use and abuse the belonging individual and the individual gets abused by the belonging group yet gladly. If it is not brain washed attitude than what is it?. We all should be able to see, that the wrong is wrong, and the right is right. The reality is that, we all as an individual are born as a human being, thus we belong to the humanity as a whole, but the installed knowledge of the politics of sense of belonging drives us closer to our own kind and belief systems yet drives us away from the humanity thus spirituality.
Race, sexual orientation, nationality and religions are politically installed knowledge and divide us into groups, which allows us to commit spiritual crimes against each other yet humanity, spirituality and God on the other hand is one entity, one individual at a time.
We neglect, ignore it personally or are forced not to choose humanity over the belonging group. Regardless it is a personal choice. I am for the survival first so if you live in an oppressive society, you need to get out of there so the oppressive authorities face brain drain to become aware of the importance of the individual. Understanding the importance of the individual human rights means accepting the evolution. Societies with equal human rights should allow those whom want to get out of the oppression.
Say someone drops a big bomb and kills a lot of people of opposing group and wins the war, the loser mourns and the victor celebrates. History shows that human societies have been in constant conflict for thousands if not hundreds of millions of years, so the celebrating and mourning is connected to the individual pain and joy. I know I am being an idealist but I have to say what I think. Why do we feel happy to kill the other human beings especially when it comes to our opposing groups. There was a news that a Canadian shot and killed from a record distance? And why this is a victory or a loss? Just look at it closely, the Kingdoms, dynasties, isms, religions and yes even democratically elected governments rise and fall. They have been exchanging victories and losses with each other yet in the end of the day it is the human individual who, has been and is always a loser. I believe its high time that we change, and respect the human individual and his/her love loss.
As groups we have been trying to hurt the opposing groups by killing their belonging individuals, which brings the love loss and revenge related perpetual killings of the individuals from both sides. This is a spiritual crime committed by the human beings as groups. We have to evolve from these sense of belonging related non sense political systems.
It is understood and well known fact, that there is a demand of loyalty from each group for its belonging individual to control his/her id and be obedient, otherwise, ready to be shunned or punished even killed by the law of the group.
As the human population grows we need to learn not only about the id of the individual but the id of the groups as well, so we can control the id which leads the individual or a group of people to prejudice related spiritual crimes. That is what makes us feel not only as an individual but as family, nation or religions, that we are above the spiritual laws.
Feelings of genetically superior are related with the differences in appearance, for instance size colour and attractiveness etc., are acceptable but the mortality trumps everything. Education during upbringing or reaching certain goals to prove being better in certain fields is a factor and you can be very good in athletics, business, social or spiritual knowledge but more knowledge should be humbling instead of making you prejudiced.
If you are very rich financially but have no people skills or are poor in relationship department, there may not be anything wrong with you, unless you start to treat others, being inferior to you. Its human nature to pick and choose to be good at something, whatever makes you feel good about yourself but still it does not make you better than others in all departments of life. It just means you are different and have chosen a path which just care about finance to secure the future, which I personally think has no security for a mortal thus I suggest to attain happiness along the way, don’t just get caught up in becoming financially secure because you still have to leave everything behind.
You could be a world champion in your sport or the best in your field, whatever it may be, but the facts of mortality don’t change, you get hungry, eat, sleep, bleed reproduce, get old, sick and die the same way just like everyone else, so the id is not going to save you from mortality.
If you are spiritual, first thing is in order, is to become humble, so you can work against the prejudice. If you feel better than others, you already have become a prejudice so spirituality is not your thing. If you are a religious individual because that is what, you are taught by the politics of your belonging groups you still need to know the justice for all is spiritual and killing an innocent even if he/she belongs to the enemy is a spiritual crime.
Twisted and politically influenced knowledge, has its way to make you prejudice as well, if you are a scientist and feel superior to everyone else or you think being religious or spiritual is a backward thing, you may need to fulfill the void of spirituality in your living years because without the spirituality for a mortal life, life is less fulfilling, because we need to experience all kind of blessings while we are alive.
Unfortunately the religions whom consider themselves as the contractors of spirituality, neglect this or intentionally ignore the effects of prejudice. That is why they openly preach the prejudiced. The false sense of superiority spread by the religions always bites back, because as the individual spiritually grows he/she can see the injustice and prejudice thus dislike to be religious, especially these days. This hypocritical knowledge works exactly the opposite to spirituality because of prejudice.
Human growth or evolution is a must, not just individually but as groups as well. It just has been suppressed and released by the nature or God, to set the rhythm, so the ordinary individual can adopt to the stresses of growth comfortably.
We can translate our holy books in hundreds of languages but the message is the one that matters, and if the message’s interpretations are according to the politics of sense of belonging, a spiritual thing can be turned into political. The politics of the sense of belonging has been, is and will always be able to penetrate in all human activities unless the individual becomes a CEO who can put things in perspectives.
From old testimonies to the new, or the existence of several sects in major religions, has nothing to do with the spirituality. It is all political, and the religions use the divisions to control the followers, so the interests of certain elites is protected. If you are a powerful king you can threatened the religious scholars whom are not in it for the spirituality, things can be changed to fit the interests of the kingdom or the king himself, or even the king can write himself to change the book. So what are we fighting over? Spirituality or the politics. I deliberately took the name of religions out because God is not some entity whom speaks exclusively Arabic, Hebrew or English. That would make even God prejudiced, God is consisting of all kind of spiritual human beings, whom serve as Godly workers.
In spiritual world there is no race, color, gender, nationality or religion, its beyond the group politics of sense of belonging. The proof is in the pudding, each and everyone of us is capable of using personal free will, thus able to make personal choices and is also able to follow the religion, or become an unbiased spiritual being.
If your belonging group is not allowing you to make personal choices, or forces you to stay inside of the boxed thinking, regardless of the free will if one is following the rules blindly is true and good follower but not a good CEO. If you feel that you are a CEO but can’t live with your free will, don’t blame yourself because it just means that, you live in an oppressive society. This oppression is related to the power of control and it is looking for the interests of certain group of people thus it is one hundred percent political. They will use even God’s name to keep the individual from thinking independently.
If it was God given and spiritual, we would not even have groups, never mind over two hundred countries remember that the glob has not physical boundaries it is all divided by the political lines.
Spiritually speaking, the first rule of the thumb should be that,
Don’t do to anyone what you don’t like done to you. This is one of the spiritual law which has been denied by most organized religions because they go to wars against each others and inflict harms to the innocents in the name of their particular belonging groups. From bombing to suicide bombing with chanting the name of God is great is not spiritual it is political and yes it is clearly a spiritual crime because it is designed to kill innocent people.
The problem is not the differences, its the politics of the sense of belonging, just look at any western nation and see it for yourself individually not as a group, there are all kind of people and they are able to live together under the law of that land. Where equal human rights is the glue to hold everyone together, and the individual respect, gets the individual sold to live and let live in peace. You can even take the governing body to the court and win, if your rights are violated. Recently Omar Kadir got apology and a good settlement by the supreme court regardless of his unpopularity in the Canadian population. You can get an apology, decades later as well, for the wrong done to your ancestors like natives got.
The main reason why religions can’t contain the spirituality in a book and control the message is the political intervention of the sense of belonging. If you start to dig into the politics of sense of belonging, it is the main cause of prejudiced related human short comings.
Humanity has been the victim of this menus, not only in our past history, but in the present days as well. We need to look at humanity, as an individual and ask why can’t we be, as, what God had created us? Why do we all have free will and the ability to use it individually?
It is because, potentially we are all created as a CEO of our lives, which makes us all a little politicians of our lives. We use each other for our interests, yet with free will we gladly get used as well. The bigger question arises Why?
Sometimes it is survival, sometimes we don’t want the stresses of life, from jobs to relationships this politics is part of human individual’s life. All these things are related with the choices to use the personal free will.
If you feel that you don’t have a choice, you may blame God, but if you start to look at the powerful phenomena of the sense of belonging, you will discover that you do have a choice, but you have been brain washed, so you can’t break the traditions, customs or the rules of your belonging group. If you learn to believe in God, spirituality and humanity as a whole, you will be able to see the picture of your real belonging belongs to.
Humanity has hundreds of nations and even more languages with political systems, so to understand the language of God and spirituality or even humanity as a whole, you need to know the message not the language.
Spirituality flows over the boundaries of any nation, race, gender or religion, just like the internet or global warming, you can burry your heads like Donald Trump but the facts don’t change the reality. The real, reality is that the human being is an evolving entity and especially these days the evolution has accelerated so the changes are coming fast, if you don’t adopt you are going to be left behind and be blamed by the coming generations. The groups have to accommodate this evolution, otherwise, even the buildings we have been calling God’s houses, will go empty to be sold for a dollar.
You worry about the language, what about the message? The real thing is what you want to convey, not what language it is conveyed in. These days we take help from the computer to communicate and as I see it, at some point we will get there when the language would not matter.
Language is group and politics oriented, yet what we say is universal. Whatever we talk to each other is talked amongst people all over the world yet in different languages. For instance you can say I love you, or I will kill you, this loving and killing has been going on since the beginning and is universal thus can’t be locked into any one particular language.
All people in all human societies do the loving and killing, so what language, do you think God speaks? If you say Arabic, Hebrew, English or any one particular language, you are being prejudiced. God does not stay bound in one particular body part, God is the body itself. Why I keep giving the metaphor of body is, because I believe God is like a human body and we as an individual are its cells, and have direct connection and a relationship of reciprocation with it. I can explain it this way.
For instance you look at the human body microscopically there are trillions of cells with hundred trillions of bacteria and everything in it makes it work and live. The body is as complex as it can get, and there are systems, they are beyond our comprehension yet we still live. Just imagine, if the brain cell is talking to the body and says hay it is me who is running the show, without me nothing works, heart jumps in right away and says, if I don’t have a rhythmic beat you can’t even get the oxygen, lung says, not so fast you two, I am the one who brings the oxygen in, liver don’t want to stay quit, and says if I don’t clean up the mass, you can’t live long. Kidneys say the same thing, the skin says if I am not there the bacteria would kill you in no time, eyes say without me you are blind and the ears say you are deaf if we are not there. Muscles flexes itself and says without me you can’t even move or swallow the food, by now the colon had enough, so it says stop all the non sense, you are all full of shit, if I am not functioning, you can’t live without the nourishment I provide.
Finally God who is the body says, it is not you alone nor me alone, non of us function alone. You are alive with me and I am alive with you, if I am in you, you function, if am not you seize to exist, and ironically, if I don’t have your physicality I lose my physical existence as well. Without me it is a dead body and without you its an empty building or a ghost town.
This is as universal as it gets, the hard fact is that we all need oxygen, water and food to function, we breath, eat, shit, bread, bleed, get old and die the same way. No exceptions. We get hurt from the same things, physically, mentally and emotionally. The love loss hurts us all the same way whether you are black, white, brown, yellow, red, male, female straight, gay, Muslim, Christian, Canadian or Pakistani. So what is the big fuss, politics of the sense of belonging is the problem and that is proven to be wrong because it is based on the prejudiced.
From the cast system of the Hinduism to the sects of all major religions to the extreme beliefs in one way of living has nothing to do with God, spirituality and the universality of the humanity, because our sense of belonging to our source has been robbed by our group politics. So open your spiritual eyes to see the wrong doing of your own belonging groups and stand against the prejudice and adopt to the equal human rights for all.
