Picture an out line of human body with cells. The brain cell says I am better than the colon cells because I run the body, the heart cell says oh I beat to keep the blood flowing so all cells can live, the lungs cell claim I am the one who brings in the oxygen the colon says I am the one who supply the nutrients without me you are all dead, liver says I am important without me you are all dead. Skin says if I am not there you will all die of infections, The arm or the leg can say, I don’t like to live in this chaos I don’t belong here. The idea is that body has all kind of cells and is not complete unless work as a whole. It is the same for the humanity, we are the cells of humanity or even I would go that far to say God. Just like the body depends on the functioning of all cells with harmony, God and humanity can’t function without the human beings.
If one particular group of cells says that we are better because of our job it is just ridiculous because the job is done because of the functioning of the body as a whole, thus every cell is important regardless of the kind.
If any one individual says that I am better than the others because I belong to certain nation, race or religion, it would be exactly the same ridiculous claim. The day a human being is born he/she belongs to the humanity not the nation, race or religion because he/she is a human child. Now how do you pass the test to become a human being? What makes you graduate from the class of chimps and baboons? Why don’t we learn more about how to become human beings, when will we be able to overcome our dark side. Number one thing to qualify to be a human being is, his/her personal character not the clan, race, nation or a religion. The jewellery of compassion, forgiveness, sacrifice and love makes a human being otherwise regardless of belonging group you have the potential to be worse than the worst because you have the smarts and these days the weapons of mass destruction.
Picture if the arm or leg claim that I am too good to be part of this body yet all the nutrient and oxygen rich blood is provided to the arm or the leg is by the body. If your race, nation or religions have you believed that you are better, they are not only racist, they are wrong and leading the humanity and even the God to destruction. It is not funny when you have the nuclear weapons and the emotionally charged individuals with the fingers on the triggers. With the nuclear disaster we are all in it, there is no brain cell, or heart, liver, lung arm or leg will live without the body.
Ironically, our holy books have the predictions of the day of destruction now the question is, are we going to create or avoid that scenario. Well personally I am an optimist and believe that we will evolve from our religions and nationalism to join the humanity as a whole. May not be in my life time but if there are people working against the global warming, saving the other species of animals from extinction we would have the common sense to survive our emotionally dark animal side as well.
