“AN AWARENESS OF MORTALITY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE US ROB OUR OWN SELF OF HAPPINESS AND CONTENTMENT BUT FORTUNATELY WE COME EQUIPPED OR BLESSED WITH HOPE AND OPTIMISM FROM BEFORE BIRTH. LIFE IS WORTH LIVING BECAUSE OF HOPE AND OPTIMISM.
Hope and optimism sound good all the way but it has its sides just like our ego, they both have one thing in common they can cut both ways like a double edge sword. For instance, hoping God will bring positive things to you is great but if you stop putting your efforts into your life and don’t take responsibilities of your actions or worse start to gamble in every action you may end up in trouble and blame God for not showing up. Sure it’s great to have blind faith but blindly trusting is for far and few but for most of us we need to put our ducks in line.
This day and age we have to own our actions because regardless of what you have been taught, religious faith alone is not enough. We need to physically take charge and become the CEO of our mortal life. Creating a balance between faith and personal responsibilities is not for a departmental head. When you go to mullah or a priest they can tell you, you have faith in God, God can handle everything. Make sure to just ask them how does God work without human beings? Remember all good deeds need physical action and God can’t do without the help of human beings in that department. Taking care of weak and vulnerable is done with the help of strong and able living breathing human beings. If you say God alone or spirituality is doing that, I would like you to point toward any meaningful Godly action which has no human hands, back or shoulders involved. If all God’ s houses like grand mosques, churches or temples are made by human beings, taking human beings out would make everything crumbled.
For us to live a successful mortal life we have to learn not to stand in our own way, our potential is not just going to happen we have to put some efforts to achieve it. You just can’t go the mosque or church and pray for bigger muscle or better health. You need to become proactive and go to the gym and do your job to achieve a higher level of physicality. If you want to achieve some spiritual muscles you still don’t have to go to mosque or church you have to go in the armpits of humanity where it stinks but God is living in those broken people. If you believe God lives in some buildings you got to think again, just remove people from those buildings and see what happens, you probably will have to sell them for a buck. (Read God’s house for sale for one dollar).
Our continuously evolving potential is waiting for us to personally do something to evolve so individually every single one of us can be a help for humanity yet we follow our politics of a sense of belonging to our groups. We keep killing each other over who is right for after death without questioning ourselves why are we doing that. To me its totally politics and nothing but, whether you hide it behind religious beliefs or nationalism, it still stinks like politics and it actually is like putting lipstick on a pig. Reality is a bitter one because we eventually will have to accept and change for the better because our past and present ways did not work very well for humanity as a whole. We as humanity have a responsibility to work together to deal with and find solutions before we bring an end to our planet.
Nationalism, religious beliefs or not, our lives or our living years are for human spirituality and God. If you are taught or you yourself believe in something otherwise snap out of it and smell the roses. Global warming related problems are coming, security walls are not going to cut it. Our weapons of mass destruction are in the same area, no walls are going to be good enough to stop the radiation so humanity should be forced to work together instead of using same old political tactics to bring one group of people to rule the world. That politics literally would have deadly consequences because we don’t fight with swords and shields.
A consistent and undeniable fact of human knowledge has been, is and will always be that we are an evolving entity. Since we have several different fields of knowledge and we have an individual responsibility to evolve in every single one of them because we individually are created as the CEO of our life. You just cannot be evolving in one area and not in others because an imbalanced individual has the potential to become an extremist, prejudiced, discriminatory and a politically ignorant. Our religious leaders would not want to explore in the field of God and spirituality according to the need of time and level of individual and collective evolution in all other areas of life because they can’t control if they can’t control they lose power so is a loss for a political group. Spirituality, on the other hand, does not care for power and control it is only for helping the needy. Now if you still think your religion is spiritual check if they preach power and control then decide. That is if you are a CEO who can question religious authorities.
Our different departments of life, to mention a few is our physical health, psychological, mental, emotional, spiritual health on one side, then we have science, technology with all its branches and everything in between on the other. When a scientist discovers something they can easily discredit other kinds of knowledge which are limiting. Following only one way of living a mortal life is not good enough to have a successful experience in human life. Living exclusively with intellectualism and missing out on emotional fulfillment or happiness related contentment of life is possible. Believing in scientific life exclusively is just like believing in religious life exclusively so both can be extreme. They both have the potential to lead us to become prejudiced against the religious belief system or even science. It can become political to the point that we can ignore spirituality related ocean deep happiness in our mortal life, which is a great loss, depending on how you look at your mortality.
Either you are in it or you are not, our religious fanatics or people believing in extreme or simply conservatives or really far out of religious beliefs friends use cars, planes, cell phones and related evolved comforts yet want others to live in strict religious boundaries or disregard the component of happiness and contentment in a mortal life. We are living in interesting times. In actuality, things can be done quite simply if we stay focused on the core message like spirituality and justice to all equally.
Our trouble is that regardless of our evolution and learning constantly about new things we constantly and stubbornly have been and are still claiming that we know everything there is to know. We are so passionate about our knowledge that we kill each other over who is right especially when it comes to our religious beliefs or politics of a sense of belonging to our groups.
Most of our disputes and even wars, whether they are individual or collective usually stem from our egotistic and so-called complete knowledge. From religions to isms to democracy everyone claims their way is better than others so it should be followed by the whole humanity.
Our politicians excite general population to use them all the time and interestingly we work for them like puppets even as a mass we can be manipulated and used for political purposes, its time for the individual to become a CEO so they can question and have the ability to see what is hiding behind those passionate speeches.
Old theories get debunked all the time yet humanity is still riddled with disputes, related to our prejudiced and discrimination. I believe humanity has a long way to go to be spiritually evolved because until our religions clean themselves up from political differences we will not be able to bring humanity to become one organism like God himself.
I think its time for an ordinary individual to at least acknowledge their standings and importance in the larger scheme of life. Assume personal and individual responsibilities to actively seek internal and external peace to live a comfortable mortal life at the same time spread what is inside. We already know that and I repeat that killing of an innocent being is a spiritual crime, and yes even if it is done in the name of God, religion, or nationalism. A fundamental spiritual truth which needs to be acknowledged by all of us at the same level.
As individuals we are the most important link in the grand scheme of life, our mass may dispute that but the reality is the mass itself is created by the individuals, even God’s work is not done if an individual does not act physically. If every single one of us recognizes and understands their standing in the larger scheme of life they become the CEO of their life. If that happens thousands of year old political land escape may change otherwise we still are entangled with all our issues for another two thousand years. As CEO s of our lives, we need to utilize all kinds of our knowledge to live our mortal life doing equal justice to all around including ourselves.
All our knowledge whether its pass down observational experiences of our ancestors, Holly books, mental, emotional, psychological or spiritual or modern scientific and technological knowledge they all are important. Not keeping room for newly discovered knowledge is like burying our heads in the sand because of this we need to take charge to change our future. By not accepting our evolutionary nature or respecting our religious orders to the point that we simply want our political religion to be in power of the world.
Our evolution is in our own hands yet its God-given order of nature, if it was not we would still be living in our distant past. Declining any new kind of knowledge is simply not following God’s orders, and yes even if your mullah, priest or rabbi say so. Naturally, you just can’t stay locked into the boundaries of rules or customary traditions related restrictions. Just look around how successful they have been, every human society regardless of religious beliefs has its crime rate, if you personally want to see the differences just google sexual crime rates and see for yourself.
If you want to see the proof of religions success rate just look into humanity’s progress, mullahs, priests, and rabbis have been always preaching about their religious boundaries but humanity has never stopped evolving. It is still evolving and will always be evolving because human beings bring along continuously evolving potential and that is God-given spiritual order. Religion or not we just can’t stay in the boundaries of any kind period. If you force orders spirituality gets taken away from that society because we spouse to self regulate to become good people. Force usually brings reaction so look up for the crime rate in the oppressed societies.
Our evolution is clear proof that we are not like bees or ants, we can’t just serve the mass or mass serves the queen. Kingdoms don’t work very good these days, if they do they are forced to give freedom to their subjects otherwise they have internal turmoil. Humanity does not only evolve as a mass we are constantly evolving at an individual level as well so anything comes in the way is subject to change. We are human beings we have our individual and collective potential which itself is continuously evolving so there is no end to anything or freezing cap to any human knowledge. As individuals, we just have to pick and follow a field of knowing what we are good at, religious beliefs or not.
If you are a doctor you may not be religious, if you are a mullah or a priest you may not be very good at helping people if they are physically sick. You can be an atheist scientist or an engineer but you could not be a good social worker or politician. |Since you are a preacher of religion you may claim that you are spiritual. It may not be true because if you are preaching your particular religion and are prejudiced or discriminate against all others, you may be far from spirituality itself. Remember if it is about spirituality it is about all humanity as one organism with equal justice to all its cells there is no one particular group of people or kind of cells to prefer. It is about the body as a whole, not an arm or a leg.
Every human society has been, is and will always be in the need of some kind of a justice system but same as always it has always been under the influences of the politics of a sense of belonging. Justice systems can be complicated but if you remove the political influences the complications start to melt and fade away. Today’s craze of equal human rights is not just a coincident it has been brewing for a long time. Since all the other experiments of human sociology have been under the politics of a sense of belonging to our groups and they all contained injustice related prejudice and discrimination they failed us as humanity. Humanity needs to have a system which is based on equal justice. We as individuals are willing to let go of our group prejudiced and discrimination if the rules are equal for all people, but then we run into another problem and that is mass versus individual discrimination. That should be solved if we start to look at mass as one individual as well just like we do with corporations.
Since mass has always been more powerful compared to individual, it just can’t help itself but to flex its muscles and commit injustice against the individual. For instance, if as a mass we go to war it is the individuals who kill and get killed. If a whole lot of people go with this kind of politics they interfere with the spiritual justice system which can’t be blind because of political influences so most societies nations and religions should be looked at as corporations so they can be taken to court by the individuals if they need to.
Most religions have a lot of followers, so do communism and socialism so they are like larger corporations and are political entities. We all follow them because of our individual insecurities, we individually seek to fit in, impress and want to be admired by our belonging groups so we stoke that political fire regardless of our level of intellect. If we don’t have spirituality and our justices systems in our societies, we have been and are still individually and collectively committing spiritual crimes against each other all the time and yet in the name of God or powerful people. Now look around and see how many spiritual crimes have been and are being committed every day against innocent individuals in the name of nationalism, religion and even in the name of God.
Recently watched a movie called “An interview with God”. A line got stuck in my head, it was God telling the individual. And I quote.
“Your life is not an audition for the afterlife and if can stop worrying about that, you might have time for other things like loving one another and living your life.” End Quote.
When religions mix politics or play with power and control into their disguised spiritual path they become political systems and a political religion would always be for power and control. For God it is not for power and control, it is all about spirituality and justice to all equally. Look at every religion critically or even just closely most of them openly preach their way is the only way to God and everyone else is going to hell. Hell no.
The biggest spiritual wrong is that political religions connect their group prejudice, discrimination and even injustice to God. As if God is unable to do justice, so they do it themselves but can’t keep their politics of a sense of belonging out. These political religions or their belonging extremists are doing bad things to innocent people in the name of God, the kicker is that God takes blame from victim side as well that why did God let that happen to them. These problems are created by our political religions very cunningly because they put God on such a place that we individually expect perfection from God. If God does not show up to help all the blame goes to God exclusively but not to the human individuals involved in the bad actions. It’s as political as it can get, very cunning it has to be coming from human beings who don’t take the blame of their actions and put it on God or Devil.
If bad things happen to some good people Devil gets the blame. My problem with that is that why don’t human beings take their responsibilities and why they put everything on God and Devil?. (That is my reasoning to give the name and title to my writing as who flipped my triangle). If God turns around and says, I gave you a functioning body, brain, oxygen and free will what more do you want? Hold your hand all the time so you can’t follow your nature and evolve. I did my job now you do yours, by using your abilities like free will, take charge and own your actions and evolve.
Now look around and see how our political religions have been standing in the way to stop us from evolving. They started from throwing virgins over the cliffs to please God and today they want us to run around fearfully to stick with the politically preached so-called security. Today we have figured out and are figuring out a whole lot of things what religious fanatics did not expect will be debunked.
From medical advances in even the reproduction and genetically appropriate interventions to an exploration of space to all kind of scientific discoveries and on the other hand weapons of mass destruction. Now the question is should we blame Devil or give all the credit to God for everything human being is doing, remember today we have satellites in the space and we are still arguing and disputing about the moon to adjust our Eid holiday.
One can say God or Devil don’t exist, an easy thing to assume but if you look within the core of human beings closely you will discover two sides from within. Our good and bad is actually chosen by us with the free will. You can choose to nurture one or the other but at the end of the day, it would be you who gives physicality to dirty or good deeds of God and Devil.
If you with your evolving yet limited knowledge you choose to believe only in yourself and deny the existence of God and Devil you could be right because this is your free will which feeds your good and bad. In other words, you give physicality to your actions with the choices you make with your God-given free will. It’s your responsibility to choose your actions wisely because you are the one who is a choice maker.
We as individuals have a lot more responsibilities than we are taught to believe. First of all, ask why most religions promote living this life for the afterlife? According to them, this life is less important to ask them why? Before you go any further remember we are only useful to God with our physicality meaning only in our living years. If we are a spirit or are dead we can’t help anyone physically and remember our physical deeds are God’s help to the seekers. Why we have been preached that afterlife is superior to our living years? Since no one comes back with some physical evidence religious leaders maybe are taking advantage of that and telling you to follow or else God will punish you with Hell that pops another question, why do we have to believe in and blindly in everything that a political religion says?
See the problem is that if we have to follow our passed down knowledge unquestionably it goes against our human nature. If we are threatened to be shunned, physically punished or even killed that may temporarily delay the questioning but the doubts will not be resolved. If you live in western nations these threats may not mean anything to you but in the real world these spiritual crimes have been and are committed in broad daylight by the extremists in all over the world and interestingly it’s not in any one particular religion. It is a political phenomenon which crosses over even in different religions or our other ways of governing yet in the name of the religion or even nationalism. Just like mob killings have no one particular religion, it has the same passionate foundation standing on the politics of a sense of belonging.
Regardless of free will if you are not happy with all the blessings, how can you be or will be happy without the physical blessings of the body? If you start to dig into your lack of fulfillment and question the motives behind all the rules or traditions of your governing systems. You eventually will come to recognize the politics of power and control to some people not to God and Devil. Does that mean I don’t believe in any one particular religion or God and Devil? Not simple question to me it is so broad that if I try to simplify I would end up in an assumption world where everything becomes murky and our ego kicks in to make us use the claim that we know everything there is to know. I personally am a student of practical life with logic if something does not make any sense I am going to question regardless of how many people believe in it. No ego but just a questioning nature. I believe in individual freedom, equal human rights and responsibility to reciprocate for God’s blessings like free will, a functioning body, thinking and functioning brain and free oxygen. If I can’t function even for a few minutes on my own, that is enough to make me humble about my knowledge in the grand scheme of life. Anyway, that is me thinking out loud I am going back to the blog post.
With the politics of a sense of belonging to our groups in mind, mass over individual may seem a pretty good idea but to me, it has to be equal justice to all regardless, no one is above the law, not an individual not a group of people not even as nation or religion. Whether it is in between groups or between individual and group equal justice no ifs or buts. If it is not equal justice based, to me it is not spirituality based so need to pure our religious beliefs of political influences is greater than we believe, because we are overly passionate when it comes to our belief systems. Our past history shows that our religious wars are the bloodiest ones because of our passion and even today I believe a religious fanatic would not hesitate to use a weapon of mass destruction because they believe the afterlife is more important than present life. If it is not based on justice and spirituality it has to be political so politically how do we make our governing systems follow blind and equal justice?
Let us start with recognizing and removing group politics first, then help the individual to find individual footing to become a CEO, then make sense of it all by using not so common, a common sense of mortality, God, spirituality, and politics.
Ask yourself if God is a figure, then ask your self what we really are? What does it mean to have our own individual free will? Does this free will make us tiny Gods or heaven forbid I should not be using this term, it may throw me out of God’s so-called political world. We can’t be God if politics takes hold over our religious or spiritual beliefs. A political logic can easily say no mass of people would like to have individuals running around disputing or debunking every theory presented to them, so there is no doubt about politically tainted rituals, traditions, and rules. How can an individual stand up against mass related injustices? One can say that is the way it is, I am not the one who says that is the way it is. To me, that is never the way it is because we are always evolving so keeping a status quo is not actually the way it is for humanity.
Well individually if its a matter of life and death individual should use personal politics to survive in hostile situations. Interestingly in this day and age or I should say in modern days our religious beliefs have been questioned and actually labeled as discriminatory and prejudicial systems of governing. It is a clear sign that spirituality based on equal human rights are in vogue. If you as an individual start to live with principles of equality and don’t do to anyone what you don’t like done to you or your loved ones you automatically will have spirituality in your actions regardless of what religion or belief system you belong to or where you come from.
If you have arrived here you have become the CEO of your life. Tiny God who cares and does not emphasize on fear of hell, have no greed of heaven and actually makes living years more important than life after death. Looks after God’s real orders of reciprocation and enjoys all the happy moments along the way instead of hoping to be forgiven or praying out of fear of God yet committing spiritual crimes in the name of their religion.
Now, let us take the politics aside and look at things a little deeper with a different kind of knowledge.
My question is why some people even as kids are a lot more optimism than others and some of us are never happy to be even alive never mind happy for little moments that make a mortal life worth living. If life is worth living what are the things make that happen. If you look at the things that make people happy are not even things, for instance. If you look at happy people they love to be with people, enjoy friendships and most of the time is positive about life regardless of circumstances. Why some of us are miserable regardless of having a materially successful life? If material success is not enough what would make them happier? Is it control? Is it security or both? Is it genetics or education? What makes everybody different? It can’t be a learned knowledge because if that was true most of us would be happy because we have been learning to form our gurus and experts of all sorts for a long long time and by now we should be wise enough to be happy.
We have people who know a lot about our brain physiology and psychology or even drugs and on the other side, we have several religions, their sects and a whole lot of other manifestos of life. We have been around for a long time so our knowledge should be really high level to live a happy life especially if we know about our mortality. Regardless of our temporary visit why aren’t we happy or at least why don’t we value happiness as the ultimate prize of being mortal who is not in any way or shape in control or secure with personal will?.
There are some factual realities for each and every one of us like age, sickness, and mortality so fearing, stressing or trying to control can be actually working against the very goal of achieving happiness and contentment. It’s okay to be some time sick, weak or vulnerable because these events, circumstances or situations are part of and make a life visit a life.
If you get all bent out of shape every time you lose control, remember you are lacking hope and optimism because all circumstances, situations or events whether they are physical, emotional or financial change all the time. If you go through some difficult time just look back how many time you have gotten out of these physical, emotional, financial and spiritual problems. Logically it should give you hope and help you get out of a difficult time and should do the trick but it is not so easy for a certain type of people. You can say whatever you want regardless of how much it makes sense to them, they just can’t or would not be able to put that in practice because they just simply want life to be without any kind of problems that means total control on everything. For a mortal being, there is no control and security so wasting time, energy and good health over it is not wise to find a way to go in the deep pit where these two reside, come to terms with and surrender these two. Does my logic say if no one out there lives a life of an immortal even the strongest can’t live life in total control then what is driving you to want that control? Ask yourself this question honestly in the dead of the night, if you want answers they are within your pit or gut.
Our hope and optimism could be related to our education from parents or society they belong to or simply we brought it along from before birth. For instance, we have our social knowledge written in the books and actions of our belonging groups but there is a lot more to it and to learn more you will have to read in between those lines as well.
Right from the get-go, you have been told don’t do this do that, this is the right thing to do and that is wrong and that right and wrong has a lot more written in between as well which you learn as you grow up. Learning of being good or bad is one thing, what we learn from in between the lines is just as important as what is written in the lines. In the nutshell when we are taught dos or don’t we actually are taught to control everything in life. Indirectly but unfortunately that is the game of life we need to play to be a civilized human being. Our inhibitions are the one make us different, better or superior to other creatures and whatever is established in the world. We have pulled ourselves off the food list of other creatures and we have assumed our CEO status. We self regulate ourselves may not be perfect but we don’t need a police person for every individual.
In reality, if you are taught control by everything and everybody around while you are growing up, it’s going to be very hard to undo and work against that knowledge when you have grown up with it. As the saying goes if the trunk of the tree is green you can bend it, after that forget about it, it would break but would not bend. It is important and crucial for society to talk to their young school-age population about control and related problems as they start to understand life.
We are teaching them everything is in your control, you can be whatever you want to be. Sure you can inspire them to push them to become whatever you want them to be but their happiness and contentment matters to them more than your desire to live through them.
In today’s western societies stress and anxiety are topping the charts especially in growing up kids because every negative event makes them rob their own happiness. They can’t even think about their life without control, so control related stress can be in the foundation of their mental health and related issues. Regardless of our help related inventions or interventions, our problems are still growing. Personally, I feel that if you have lack of hope and optimism, you would hate to be in a difficult situation, so every negative situation would make you feel that you are stuck into it forever regardless of how many time you have gone through tough experiences and came out. If looking back is not reassuring it is related to the desire to have a perfectly controlled life and unfortunately, as human beings, we are mortal so the dream of perfectly controlled life is a wrong education provided to our young ones.
These days if you go look around in western nations you will see a lot of people go to yoga classes as grown-ups, ever wonder why do they feel better or why do they need to follow these thousands of years old practice? Why even this day and age we can’t come up with new things or why can’t we have scientific interventions for our stress management? Religion or not resorting age-old strategies must have some kind of benefits otherwise today’s societies are always looking for quick fixes like drugs etc. A scientist would like to know all the numbers of math to live a life of control but as a mortal, our numbers don’t add up as we age. If two plus two is four as we age it is not four anymore, personally I would take three points nine any day but our perfectly controlled life knowledge wants you to keep looking for that penny until you find it. GOOD LUCK FOR THAT.
Happiness and contentment should be our top priority or at least we should seek out these real treasures because we have the awareness of our mortal nature. We all seek happiness and contentment but by seeking security and control in all areas of our mortal lives. It just does not make any sense because our desire for security and control is the main thing which actually is helping us literally rob our own selves of happiness and contentment. Kind of twisted logic because we want to accumulate happiness and contentment yet security related control causes us extreme stress and related health problems.
We think when we secure ourselves we will be happy and content. Unfortunately, there is no security and control for a mortal being because first of all we don’t have control on the supply of oxygen, second even after we breathe in that oxygen we still don’t have control what goes on inside the body. With ten trillion cells and hundred trillion good and bad bacteria it is a miracle for us to be alive. Since we all fall in that category that makes mortality a fact-based reality which we personally can’t change so it is better to accept adopt and add or accumulate as many happy moments as possible.
If you still think that it is not going to happen to me, simply you just are closing your eyes and burring your head into the sand. Our actions speak for themselves because we try our best in securing ourselves financially so we can be happy. We run after and seek love and health simply because we want to be happy and content in our living years.
It is our hate to be sick, weak and vulnerable makes us control our finance, health, and love. Losing them can and will leave us spiritually, physically, emotionally and psychologically destroyed unless we have hope and optimism. Since these two belong to your spiritual health, it is a good idea to learn about spirituality before religions, psychology, and science. If you start to dissect and seek solutions for individual’s all kind of problems, especially when they are related to happiness and contentment, you will end up with what I call pit problems, desire to control related to personal insecurities.
Insecurity and control they both are related to our in between the lines knowledge. Awareness of mortality makes us secure ourselves and this security gives birth to our control and control related health issues.
I believe in order to seek hope and optimism we have to dig into our pit. Digging into yourself beyond your being a physical being is not simple. First of all, you have to believe and separate yourself from the brain, and physical body, then take a look at your knowledge as your installed data. This installed data is where your insecurities come from. Right from the day one, we have been bombarded with the knowledge to secure ourselves physically, what goes on spiritually is not measured or given importance so your part of you takes a hit. If you are not even aware of being you, how are you going to find solutions for what hurts your part and what happens when you are hurt at your you part. (Read your body and brain)
Start communicating with your real your part because that inner you is the one suffers first before you start to become unhappy and discontent or before you start to become physically sick. If you want to look at it a little closer just look into placebo effects. It can tell you that even our thoughts have powerful effects on us.
That inner you have powers and it matters, if you keep neglecting your you part, you literally can’t find happiness, and contentment nor you will find your way to reach hope and optimism because they all are related with your you part. If you keep seeking physicality of life spirituality will always be an illusion for you. Yes, it does not make any sense for the individual who is sold into scientific and intellectual living exclusively but remembers we are not just a physical body, nor we are just the data full of brain. We are the one who runs all the physical and intellectual affairs of our being. Just like a brand new computer we have to install data for it to be useful. We come in life with all the capabilities of a computer but when that you part is not there we can’t run our bodies regardless of the data and capacities of the brain. Understanding this and to know the importance of each is crucial for us to evolve to create balance in all three. For instance that you part can’t become physical without the functioning body and brain, same goes the other way around if you part takes a hike everything stops functioning. If you don’t even acknowledge your you part as separate, you will only seek to comfort yourself as a physical being. Like a nice meal, house or car would be the ultimate goal for you so that you part would suffer and you would not be able to enjoy everything related to it. Ocean deep happiness, contentment, hope optimism, love would be hard to find to enjoy a mortal life. Just notice and see none of them is material yet we still want them all. Our ability to enjoy them comes from non-material things as well. As growing up I heard in a religious sermon that it is in feeding not in eating, it is in giving not in receiving. Why would we be happy to give or feed if it is a loss for us? Ask yourself this question over and over so you can reach deep inside of you and meet your real part.
If you keep seeking a nice comfortable living place with security bars to keep your stresses down or want a body which never gets sick or old, or eat a nice meal to be healthy and satisfied. You are exclusively trying to preserve physicality of being a human being. Remember it is half of our reality because just being alive is not enough for a mortal being. Whether you like it or not happiness and contentment is a crucial part of living a mortal life. Have a belief system or not, this reality has not changed for us since the beginning. If you embrace your realities, find that you communicate to come up with a strategy of your own life, especially if you are miserable regardless of your taught data.
Religions have tried to sell hope and optimism but with the political price tag, which robs the individual for mass. Technically injustice to the individual, so if someone is an alpha individual they will lose their happiness and contentment because of the injustice. If it is not founded on the justice to all it is not equal human rights and anything is not founded on the equal justice it will meet its end days because it’s based on politics, not on spirituality. If religions or any other kind of governing system has survived in human societies it is not because of politics it is because of its spiritual content. Justice and spirituality prevails and sustains in human societies regardless of time and era.
If a social system is founded on equal justice and spirituality, most of the people will feel free and spend their mortal life with happiness and contentment. In the past, even kings were popular because of their justice. In today’s world, most western democracies promote equal human rights based justice systems. If you look at the study stream of migrants, not all of them are coming for financial security or are escaping poverty and wars from their homelands. Their attraction is equal to human rights-based justice systems.
A while back, in Quebec, there was a case where a lady wearing a nikaab, was charged for wearing the nikaab by the authorities and she challenged the charge by going to court. She won in court as it was stated that she had the right to were her nikaab. A gay was protesting against her religious freedom. If you start to look closely he was protesting against the very same rule which has been protecting him as well. The law which provides equal human rights to all genders is actually based on equal justice to all. Our problem is that where we live for a while we become attached and comfortable so we call it home. New people are considered as strangers who are going to take away our comfortable lifestyle. Looking at it closely an example comes to mind because it is recent news.
A town called Luokana in Italy has been offering ten thousands of dollars and a place to live for young people to move and live there because their population is declining. If forty people die and ten are born that the population will drop quickly. From seven thousand to fifteen hundred can change everything and it should send chills to the governing authorities. Community survival depends on the individual so prejudice and discrimination will have to be put aside to deal with serious and survival problems. If you look at feelings like prejudice and discrimination they can become community killers so as societies we have to bring more of thinking people to make our laws.
Let us look at it from this angle, say you live in a larger city where the cost of living is quite high so you move to a suburb and drive regularly to work. When people start to say that our city has only so many job opportunities and people who come from suburbs they don’t pay city taxes they should be considered as aliens. Now, remember I am talking about the same nation, religion race or country. If the people who are living in the city start to complain about the people who are taking their jobs away. Should the city start to block people coming to work from outside of the city? Being from the same nation or provincial jurisdiction they could be helped by the federal level of government or at least they would be in conflict with the city level government, so it is kind of a situation where the city can have a problem to decide. Taking matters to the extreme and having prejudicial and discriminating rules can drag the city into court battle just because of political correctness so governing authorities will have tough decisions to make. Our foundational problems like prejudice and discrimination are related to our politics of a sense of belonging to our smaller groups. If we keep catering to our political agendas we can hurt ourselves spiritually and as human beings, our values get hit.
When I learned Myers Brigs personality typing our teacher said one thing it got stuck in my mind. Her words were and I Quote “ One thinker can save a ship full of feelers from sinking the ship.” end quote.
Migrants are considered burden yet the reality is most societies benefit from people living in them, otherwise whatever they have built over the centuries loses its value.
Since the life of a human individual comes with responsibilities, if we ignore that and follow whatever is popular or taught by our belonging groups can be destructive or harmful for the community in the long run. For instance, people in India have been practicing male child preferred policy or desired custom for a long time. Consequences are showing up with population imbalance. China did a similar experiment as one child per couple just to find out that we can be wrong even as societies, so it is not necessarily correct that a group is always right. Just because mass has authority should not automatically mean that the individual is wrong.
Sometimes it is preached that society or mass should be chosen over the individual, I would still stand for equal justice to all and yes even if it is between mass and individual.
To me spirituality is and it should be in the foundation of all governing systems just like justice. If we are guilty of bringing in our color, gender nation or religion before justice and spirituality we are suffering from prejudice and discrimination related issues.
If we look at our political world exclusively with politics of divisions it will always be divided and if it is divided there would always be prejudiced and discrimination. With prejudice and discrimination, we would be in the same predicament what we have been in for thousands of years. Remember we have been chasing peace for longer than that with nothing to show. Question is should we keep following it or change it from the bottom up policies by strengthening the individual so they can question their belonging authorities instead or from the top down. Whether it is individual vs mass or mass vs mass we just can’t be happy and content, nor we can look at future with hope and optimism so it is time to change and bring in the new paradigm.
