If you are confused about our present day debates and disputes whether to have a bigger or smaller government. Arguments from both sides are pretty solid, that is why people are passionate and create political problems. Finding solutions for our passionate differences simply can’t be found in our extreme politics. As you can see governments change back and forth yet the causes of our disputes still exist. Unfortunately people stay trenched in, in their favorite philosophies and disregard our spiritual nature.
In modern day era of internet things have changed and yes we are discovering that even our politics of sense of belonging has deeper roots than it appears, it crosses the lines of families, friendships and other human relationships. Interestingly even there is no individual benefits involved people still go to extreme to harm each other and willing to even destroy democracy they simply want their political parties to win. If you start to look at what is driving them to even live with animosity against each other you may end up at feelings of security. Whether this security is real or not is not the question because usually people are hurt by their own belonging groups. We have always desired whether it was in the bush or in today’s urban jungles. Unfortunately a social creature like human being simply can’t have security because of mortality. Frightful living is founded on our physical side yet our spiritual side sets us free from constant stress of being insecure.
Every time a mass shooting happens in America people start to realize that they have to do something about up grading their security system. Since we are a constantly evolving entity our needs change as we evolve with the demands of time. If you want to look at our security system critically there is only one way to gauge what works better individual stress level. Our security system has been changing because people want to reduce their stress level. From building fences to walls have been successful but only against other animals who want to eat us. Security from other human beings becomes tricky because they can be as cunning as the one who is protecting themselves. In my opinion we are best protected when our education and spiritual awareness level is higher. Respect for other’s property and life would be higher in the people who are able to envision themselves on the receiving end of their actions and self regulate. Sure gun control is important because we all can be emotionally influenced by our hormones so things can’t be very stable in that area. If we are arguing that if we all have guns people would restrain themselves out of their insecurities. An interesting argument but an old one because we have been evolving rapidly to live in the mega cities where you have to have rules and law enforcement so the logic to be scared from each other simply does not make sense. In order to live in large societies we have to learn to change and self regulate. Unfortunately things don’t work very well when even a miner traffic incident can set someone off enough to kill someone. If you go out your parents and other loved ones want you to come home. Its not that gun control would make the difference it would be individual’s ability to regulate hormones related emotional responses. Since today’s human societies have evolved into mega cities and nations, so the requirements of having a larger government is necessity. Majority of population does not want to deal with their security, they would rather pay to have people securing them so our cities have larger police forces. If you see people who are influenced by the conservative ideologies in other departments of life the would lean towards having guns and death penalty as well. Meaning they would have philosophical difference with liberalization of their society. Especially when people go through a transitional period they have more problems but as the time passes they learn to trust the system. Interestingly nations with larger governments usually do better on the happiness scale of their population because to gauge happiness one has to take their stress levels down.
Understanding today’s life and related security system of the mega cities you would have to look at the rules. You have traffic rules, police and justice system to keep peace. Sure we can’t be free of social crimes to have a fool proof system so we gauge them by the percentage to compare and accept things by the percentage as well. If you try to compare societies with or without guns, simply there is no comparison. That is why governing authorities would rather have gun control. On the other hand if you don’t trust the governing authorities you would go for the self security which means you would take the old style security approach. Unfortunately times have been changing for a long time and security systems have changed. Just like the traffic rules we need to follow other rules like you can’t be raping, robbing or killing without any repercussion like it was in the cave or bush times. Simply we can’t let our hormones dictate how to live. Dog eat dog philosophy is not a successful one for social creatures like human beings so as I say too much freedom can be harmful for the individual and society simultaneously. Going too far on the other side and giving too much power to government would be wrong for both as well so the best place would be to create balance between the two. Where mass over the individual or individual over the mass is not right but the balance is where things can work spiritually. Clearly defined rules and willingness to comply and follow always comes from the individual so not only education is needed, trust between the individual and government needs to be established. How can that happen? Simply study why drunk driving is down, sense of security is a perception related reality for us so it should be looked at in such way. Knowing from experiences as human beings we learned right from the get go that security is not a personal and individual matter because we were no match for the beasts with fangs and claws so the sense of security in numbers were established way before the fences and walls. Having law and order with justice system needs individual’s cooperation yet with the understanding of the reasons of the problems.
Since we are taught to believe that we are stronger in numbers, our politics revolves around this basic principle of security. Just like the other animals in the bush we have to understand the needs and what security is all about. Even a large bull can be taken down by the predator cats alone, a single human being is no match for a mob either especially with the weaponry of modern day human beings. Our taught knowledge is usually based on believing that our belonging group is going to stand for us so we feel loyalties for the politics of our sense of belonging.
Yet in human reality you can see even a stranger jumps in to save a victim of a social crime. What triggers that urge to help? That person you are trying to save may not be even belonging to your group. Deep inside of each and every single one of us we carry our spiritual side which not only gives us awareness of free will but personal sense of justice as well. Our actions would not just be because of security it would be our personal and spiritual side clearly speaking a language not everyone can understand. Since as human beings deep inside we know that for us aging mortals security is an illusion created by our political entities. So understanding this as an individual reality that there is no real security against mortality can make or break one’s level of happiness and contentment. Even if there are security systems set up for us, they are there for the purpose of our group survival which can go on indefinitely.
Size of government or its powers are dictated by the people especially in the democratic societies. Especially in today’s world freedom of speech and equal human individual rights are essential part of our societies. Ordinarily these days it is expected by the individual to get help by calling 911. All kind of emergency help systems are set up by the present day governing systems but things can become difficult for the government if it is small and powerless. Concepts of security whether they are financial, material or physical, they all have been and are still going through evolution along with us. From bush and cave to western style movies, where everyone has to have a gun to a brief case carrying individual with a nuclear bomb. Individual is still the main character. Individual insecurities play a big role not only in individual’s life but collectively as well so our groups have their special agenda for individual security. Everything whether it is individual related or group related, runs with politics of belonging to our groups in mind. That is why influenced individual will do anything including sacrificing their life for their belonging groups.
That is where we have to start, if we want see some real changes. Only an insecure individual would not think or take responsibilities of personal actions especially if they were taken in the name of their belonging group. They would not hesitate to choose and commit spiritual crimes against even the innocents. Remember it is our spiritual side which encourage us to think for others and jump in to help especially for the innocents. If we are spiritually aware we simply would not want to deal with personal guilt because that puts us in odds against our own atom of autonomy. As a political group we don’t give a dam what happens within the belonging individual because our philosophy has been and still is mass over the individual. Since that is not spiritual justice it is not equal, if it was it would be universal and equal, whether it is individual against individual or individual against any corporation, nation, religion or any group entity. When it comes to justice we all have our personal responsibilities and yes even as groups we have to think long term for our survival. As groups we need to look at future related brewing problems to take preventative steps so people don’t suffer and are healthy enough to pass the baton to healthy coming generations. For instance global warming, environmental pollution etc. We should have systems set up to help health care and related issues to defend against infectious diseases like Corona and Zika or other reproduction related threatening disorders. IF YOU LOOK AT THINGS LOGICALLY, HEALTH CARE IN ALL AREAS OF INDIVIDUAL HEALTH IS NOT EXCLUSIVELY AN INDIVIDUAL PROBLEM AND RESPONSIBILITY AS DOG EAT DOG SOCIETIES PROMOTE. Since it has the potential to benefit or harm the community as a whole as well so our nations should look at preventative measures for future. One can say it is giving more powers to government and it is coming from socialism so we should stand against it. Sure politically we can have difference of opinions but group responsibilities are inevitable for us social creatures, whether they are coming from socialism or not. Since this whole thing is revolving around individual and communal security, not taking care is burring your head in the sand to hide from the potential future problems. At an individual level we are more insecure than at communal level because of our individual mortality. If you give any kind of responsibility to the individual regardless of their awareness of mortality their decisions would always be under the influences of personal insecurity. Since we are not exclusively physical beings, we need to look at our lives and related things spiritually as well.
Recent failure of the government of Texas is an example of taking matter too far and giving total freedom to insecure individuals. If a socialist government runs down the finances and go bankrupt, it would be an opposing extreme. Remember it is not one or the other extreme it is all about balancing of this triangle. If you say socialism is good for the society sure I can agree with it, but if it is on the expenses of injustice against the individual I would stand against it and call it a spiritual injustice. Remember equal human individual rights are not exclusively limited to individual vs individual they go and should go individual vs mass as well.
Since individually we are all weak and vulnerable at times so regardless of how powerful you are you would end up in a situation of need of others. What I am saying is that you would have to create a personal balance between security and freedom. Sure we are not living in the bush where we had to secure ourselves from being food for other creatures. We still need security even in our urban jungle as well and even from our own kind. Since we are social creatures and we are compelled to live in social settings. Where you simply can’t have total freedom because societies would have to have their rules to be followed. At the same time you can’t live like bees and ants either because you are created as a human beings. Since you are created as an independent entity you simply can’t give all your powers to your community either. By living in a totally controlled socialist, communist or authoritarian settings would crowd you and rob you of your individuality. So your place is right in the middle of this triangle where you can stand your ground if you are being pushed around by the other individuals, corporation, government or even religion just because you are weak and vulnerable. As I said you have to have equal human rights even against the mass in order to be happy because naturally we all individually believe in equal justice. If mass is being unjust like most of our past experience say, that is why today we have democracy as a popular way of governing. Whether it was or is ordinary government, religions or any other authoritarian dictatorship or communism they will end up failing because they all are against the human nature. Sure we have naturally ingrained hormonal demands to belong but our spiritual side dictates our deep happiness and contentment.
For us mortals we would need a little bit of this and a little bit of that to be happy because our happiness is not limited to physical comforts exclusively so our spiritual side needs nurturing as well. We lose happiness and feel guilt if we are not feeding our soul with spiritual foods. Sure it is individual matter and is choice related but as a mortal our deep happiness counts as the ultimate earnings and one of the purpose of our mortal life.
Why don’t we choose the best of what humanity has to offer? So far democracy and equal human individual rights are the best things happened to us. Balancing this triangle at least at individual level would help us to have a successful mortal life. Our biggest hurdles are bread or spawned by the mother problem, which is the politics of sense of belonging to our groups. Our prejudice, discrimination or all kind of political injustices are related to our group mentality. Creating balance in this triangle individually can be useful for us but our belonging groups don’t and would not give a dam for what an individual thinks or feels. They believe in mass over the individual so they preach individual irrelevance especially when it comes to our religions, which makes individual feel insecure so they seek shelter under the group politics. If you want to change, first of all you would have to understand your personal CEO status. Given to you by God then you assert your responsibilities for community and yourself equally and simultaneously. Either way it has to come from the individual, remember if you want to have equal human rights you will have to give them to others as well otherwise simply things do not work.
If you are insecure and hoard to secure yourself but make others poorer, you are receiving but you are not giving because of your insecurities. Remember extreme is always a messenger of chaos, whether its related to an immediate and individual sufferings or long term communal downfall. We should all not only think but educate our off springs for collective responsibilities as well because short term for personal gains and loses is an animal or physical living exclusively. As human beings we are not an exclusively physical entity so our thinking should not only be limited to short term. As human beings we have to think long term and even beyond our personal living years because we need spiritual fulfillment as well. First of all we are mortals second if you want your off springs to live a comfortable life make sure you think of their security beyond material security.
If people think government has to help when an individual is in need then simply government should be given more powers just like in socialism. Interesting part in all that is that we all need some form of government because we don’t live in the bush or caves anymore. In humanity dog eat dog philosophy does not work because of our spiritual nature. We actually feel good when are able to help someone in need. If you are against socialism and are all for individual freedom you have to look at your life with factual understanding of being a social creature who is mortal.
Remember we came from the jungle where we had to live with other creatures, we had to be personally alert at all times because we were on the food list which meant extremely stressful living. Today we are not on the food list but we have to be careful from our own kind. Our evolution comes only when we go through problems, if we start to think beyond our problems we find solutions. From building walls of the house to walled communities to our weaponry and military everything was done for reducing stress. So in other words we traded our freedom for security and stress free living. We created big brother and we seek shelter under the umbrella of our governments and even religions because we want security even in after death. As mortals extreme feelings of insecurity can be called a mental health issue so we all can be mentally sick if we don’t acknowledge our mortal nature. As human beings we come with everything independent, like we physically function independently, we breath our oxygen independently, we all have our fiver or I should say atom of autonomy and related free will, personal sense of justice, compassion and choice to love or hate. Kill or get killed for the cause or even commit suicide.
Our personal and individual functioning is still in the process of understanding so not completely understood. That is why we all think why others don’t think or feel the way do so we put a lot of efforts in seeking like minded people to fulfill our social needs. Today we have human societies all over the world regardless of its mixture they all have one thing in common and yes that is their sense of belonging and related politics. This political sense of belonging has its tentacles, it crosses all lines of individuality and some time makes us individually go against our own nature. For us humans any kind of suppression or going against our nature would bring reactions. It may feel natural to belong to our groups but still it is our taught knowledge which makes us think and our thoughts dictate how we feel. Our hormonal responses are a clear sign of all that but interestingly our spiritual body is not physical yet if its nurtured it can dictate how and what we do including how we think so it can be a real power house within us all. Since we are mortal human beings living 100% spiritually is not for us because it would be an extreme. Since we are here to live our life in balance to be a human being, seeking either extreme would take us to lose that status. If we ignore our spiritual side we live like an animal in the bush, if we go to other side and deprive ourselves we end up living like an angel which is an inferior life for the human beings. Remember angels are like bees they are genetically programed to do good and we choose to do good.
Whether you are a religious individual or an atheist, if you seek extreme and expect everyone else to be like you or you are hell bent to make everyone to think like you, doubt you are an extremist. If you are religious and believe your religion should be followed by everyone in the world even as a justice system. Believing in things you can’t explain puts you on thin ice, being on the thin ice you simply can’t prove that your belief system related justice system would fit for all. Remember when it comes to justice system it can’t be standing on the realities we can’t explain. Especially with our limited and evolving knowledge we can’t all understand God at the same level so if one does not believe like you your justice system would be an injustice to them. Since justice system should be blind and on the principles of don’t do to others what you don’t like done to you or to your loved ones. Meaning it can’t be prejudicial or discriminatory. If your love of your religion is extreme you should be aware that it can effect your hormonal responses so it would be very difficult for you to work against your physical responses to give others equal human individual rights. Remember people think differently, believe in different Gods and have same hormonal effects from their belief systems. If we all are inspired to believe, have hormonal effects and are brain washed by the politics of our sense of belonging to our groups how are we going to over ride everything physical. Everyone is inspired to hate and even kill others yet with the promise to have a spot in the heaven. What do you really think what God is? Why are you willing to break your spiritual code not doing to others what you don’t like done to you or to your loved ones. You have been brain washed to the point that you can’t even think of you being an independently functioning spiritual entity. You have gone to extreme and sold yourself to the Devil of political sense of belonging yet you have been created with the potential to function as a mini God yourself. Your atom of autonomy within you is not only making you responsible for choosing your actions, you will have to answer to yourself as well. We all should know that this is where we will have the roots of your guilt feelings and they have the potential to make our living years as hell. What happens after we die is a story we don’t know yet but living this life with guilt feelings can be quit punishing so we need to and should put more emphases in how to live in our living years. If our living years are hellish we should know more about and should not go against our personal atom of autonomy. Understanding personal functioning, atom of autonomy and spiritual jewelry can help us to create balance to live a successful mortal life.
If you or your belonging group think we should live according to our exclusive group politics you would be going against your atom of autonomy because politics and spirituality don’t mix. God did not create human being as a worker bee or warrior ant, God spread God in humanity with our atom of autonomy one individual at a time. If you want the proof of that, just look at the good deeds physically done everyday by the ordinary human beings. With the help of our atom of autonomy we are converting all spiritual thoughts into physical realities. Unfortunately some of us demote ourselves to angels, bees or ants because we can’t question the politics of our belonging groups. Since we are not just a physical entity, its our responsibility to understand ourselves as a whole human being. Choosing extreme physically leads us to being less than being a human being. Remember choosing spirituality exclusively would have the potential for us not to enjoy being an alive and physical human being so that is not for us.
Differences between chimps and human beings are very little but we have sophisticated mega cities, nations and even religions yet chimps still live in the bush? Why their evolution is not similar to human beings? We are not just another smart animal, we still have to learn more about ourselves before claiming that we know God. Lets start with fundamentals, and ask serious question. Did God create everything including human being? Or human beings evolved enough to understand the importance of God in our mortal lives. Personally when I look at my personal make up, it is mind boggling to see, feel and think spiritually about God. How can we be a bundle of physicality and spirituality simultaneously? We are still in the process of evolving and are far from total understanding of even ourselves, never mind God. Since we are still in a process of learning with long way to go why and what makes us kill each other over our belief systems. What and who we really are as an individual? Are we just another primate with evolving nature or are we a spiritual entity like God? Not only learning about ourselves is not done, understanding of our evolving potential need to be explored as well. Functioning as a biological and psychological entity is one thing, functioning spiritually yet independently and individually is an other.
IF YOU GO AFTER THE STORIES AND THEORIES OF RELIGIONS UNQUESTIONABLY AND STICK WITH THEM OUT OF OUR LOYALTIES THAT BECOMES POLITICAL. BEING IN POLITICAL SENSE OF BELONGING WOULD LEAVE VERY LITTLE CHANCE FOR US TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OURSELVES AND GOD. BELIEVING IN THE STORIES OF RELIGIONS IS YOUR PERSONAL AND INDIVIDUAL PREROGATIVE THAT IS IF YOU ARE A RELIGIOUS INDIVIDUAL. SAME FOR YOU IF YOU ARE AN ATHEIST BUT IF YOU ARE HELL BENT TO PROVE WHETHER GOD EXIST OR NOT, STILL IT IS YOUR PERSONAL PREROGATIVE. WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO IS TO MAKE SENSE OUT OF YOUR EXTREME BEHAVIOR. I WANT TO UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE KILLING EACH OTHER IF YOU ARE CONSTANTLY LEARNING NEW THINGS. KILLING EACH OTHER OVER YOUR UNDERSTANDING WHICH LOGICALLY IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF EVOLUTION SO IN OTHER WORDS YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS IN THE PROCESS OF UNDERSTANDING.
Scientifically we are still learning and proving that how we are not just an other kind of monkey because our spiritual side can help or hurt our physical side. Since we are connecting our stress with our physical illnesses we are learning that our health is not exclusively connected to our physical disorders or reasons. We have a whole lot of other departments of our health, even our ways of thinking can make us physically sick so there is no one way to get sick or heal. If you can find factual ways to live your mortal life with quality then spiritual thinking can be medicinal as well. Is it scientifically proven? It may not be today but you would never know if you don’t try it, that is why we should always question, and question all departments of our knowledge including religions and spirituality.
If you can benefit from having a belief system, I am all for it but if you egotistically believe that you are 100% right and everyone else who does not believe like you, is going to hell. I will question, just like I will question who does not believe. By simply asking if you are learning something new all the time how can you claim that your knowledge is complete especially when it comes to God? What makes you so sure? Is it related to your political loyalties to your belonging group? Is it related to your low self-esteem which compels you to speak passionately and loudly so the others don’t question you even if you are not making any sense. Remember for thousands of years we have been claiming that our knowledge has been complete yet just look around and see if you are still living in the bush. Right before your eyes world has been, is and will always be changing and evolving. Where do you think your disconnect is, or where is it coming from? I know as groups our motive is to gain political power and control over the individuals but as an individual what do you think is causing you not to question your personal behavior. You can see your evolution year after year a grade by grade in everything. Don’t you want to know why can’t you question the politics of your sense of belonging? After all you are learning constantly. Even if you believe God created you, you have to understand and know why and why with an evolving nature?
Sure you don’t grow horns or wings like Devil or angels but you are constantly evolving. Just look around even in your one life time you can see world changing around you. Today you don’t go to some guru to ask questions because you have Google related Sari or Alexa at your service. You don’t even have to buy a physical book you can read it on your personally hand held device. I don’t have to give you examples in the era of Skype and Zoom, you just need to make sense out of things for yourself by questioning everything physical but spiritual things on the other hand are complex even for our computers.
If you want to know God simply look at yourself but critically, physically, biologically, emotionally, mentally, scientifically and spiritually. Imagine ten trillion cells, with hundred trillions friendly bacteria with three millions of genes. How a one single cell works within your body? That is how you are working within the body of God. Far fetched? Just try to understand how complex you can be and are then try multiplying with seven billion time. That is what makes a body of humanity and God so should we work together and in synergy? What picture do you draw personally? It is a monster or a compassionate entity?
I like to believe and stay with simple life functioning, not in some magical and miraculous world. Everyday reality is my focus, that is why I am able to keep it simple. If one doesn’t want to believe unless its a magical and miraculous they usually ignore the real and simple facts of life. If you believe that only your belonging group is right you would not believe God is like humanity or humanity is like God. That clearly means that you consider yourself like an arm or a leg of the body but with a belief that you are functioning exclusively. Sure we are designed to be an independent entity but our connection to the body of God is undeniable. Our ability to live on the face of the earth and beyond with the help of spiritual source is undeniable as well, just try even thinking without the help of oxygen. You may know how oxygen works scientifically but in spirituality things work by believing that there is help for you where you can’t help yourself.
We have been mingling regardless of our racial, religious and political resistance. From racial to religious differences to royalties to cast systems to democracy to equal human individual rights. We have been changing all along but bigotry, prejudice and discrimination has always been part of our journey all along as well. If you look at the westernized and melting pot societies around the world they are not new, people of all kind have been living together for millions of years. Sure our societies are still riddled with racism, gender biased, religious prejudice and discrimination but the ability to live together is clearly seen around the world. Live and let live and give and receive equal human individual rights are easier at individual level because it is natural for us but our problems start when that individual is under the influences of the politics of belonging. Since our differences are not limited to our race, color, gender, nationalism or religions we need to learn to live together regardless of our differences. That means our political views should not be able to bring us down and stand us in the line up of primates, our smarts are not ingrained to be a smart animal they are there to understand spirituality so we can create balance between our animal side and spiritual side. That is not going to happen if you give total freedom to the individual or give total power to the community. It is all about the personal sense of spiritual justice at individual and communal level. Since there is no real security for us mortals we need to understand and create balance instead of choosing between security and freedom.
