Regardless of religion, religious beliefs have the ability to touch certain individuals in unique manors. Similar to music, we are effected differently and so far there is no clear answer or explanation that why certain human beings tend to take matters to extreme yet others stay moderates. One can believe and be blessed with hope, optimism, become a decent human being and spend their life in spiritually healthy environment or lose out with the infectious hormonal responses and react violently. There can be a trouble for the susceptible beings if our religions become infected with the politics of sense of belonging to groups. They can drive the individual backward and far enough that they can’t question their hormones related raging responses and get used politically. If religions provide spirituality what they were meant to, individual can spiritually benefit to live a comfortable mortal life by having a belief system. Trouble has been and still is that even our religions are not immune to the politics of belonging to our groups so our religious disputes are not only passionately longer lasting but bloodier as well so regardless of our advancements and our present knowledge we are nowhere close to be out of our literal woods. We still kill each other, rob resources and treat each other as animals or less of a human beings. What are our reasons to evolve in some areas but not all. Scientifically, technologically and medically we are doing fine because there are no hurdles in the way but socially and spiritually we are stuck and are behind by about three thousands years.
Today we know our bodies are made of cells and ten trillion of them and we know we can’t function without the hundred trillion bacteria we carry within. We also know our cells die and are being reproduced all the time. Right within our bodies even while we are alive a game of life and death is an on going process. If life and death is with us at our cellular level, we should also know what life is? If we experience life by a reciprocating functioning of our cells and the body simultaneously, we should individually seek the purpose of it all as well. So what do you think is the reason of you being alive? If every cell of yours is dependent on functioning of your body as a whole and body is dependent on the life your every cell contains, shouldn’t you respect that life? Whether it is your own or anyone else’s.
Let’s dig in a little further and deeper, if cells are alive because of the functioning of the body, death of few cells out of trillions logically would not make any difference in the functioning of the body because it is designed that way. Every day cells die and are being reproduced so that little bit of life carried by the cells may be insignificant but if the body is diseased and cells die more than the body can reproduce, eventually it would be inevitable for the body to die as well.
Now take this to the next level and see how you are connected to the humanity and God. Your first questionable thing is where did you come from and second is why? You started as a cell, took a form and are born to your parents. Your parents came through the same rout and just like you became a part of the belonging community, nation or a religion just to become a cell even after birth. You automatically become a part of a group which you are born in. That group can have different color, race, nation or religion so your first encounter is your parents and whatever nation or religion they belong to. Now you are the part of a group you did not choose because you are born into it, that means you are totally innocent regardless of what is going on politically. So simply and logically you can’t be punished for being part of that particular group. Now look around what has been and still is going on in the world, people are being killed just because of the way they look or what they believe.
If a group consider itself as a separate entity meaning not connected to humanity as a whole, it wouldn’t be natural because we all pass our genetic test to be called a human being. Unfortunately our social evolution is still stuck in the past and for far too long because we still kill each other just like we did in the bush or cave times, we mark our territories, take territory and expect others or losers to run away so we can rule that part of land. What does it remind you? Do you believe you are an other animal like creature who is still stuck in the bush mentality? What about our evolving nature and evolution? Logically we belong to humanity as a whole because we all have the ability to live together in urban jungle, we are perfect match genetically, we are made of the same stuff, we need the same things to function, to live and we suffer the same way from the same things.
Since we are an evolving entity and we can’t stay still but the politics of our sense of belonging to our groups has us shackled there. Now the question is can we break through our chains of insecurity and join hands together to belong to humanity as a whole? Sure we can but our politics of belonging gets in the way to stop us from taking that next leap of faith in humanity. As soon as we acknowledge that we are a part of bigger picture in this case humanity we can individually override the politics of belonging to groups. Remember physically we belong to humanity and spiritually we belong to God. They are the body and we are the cells so the sooner we understand that the better because our evolution in other areas is taking us further and further but staying behind in this department can have deadly consequences for the body as well.
If you don’t learn to believe that and stay stuck into the politics of belonging to your groups, it would be equal to two cells debating within your arms or legs about the existence of body as a whole. If you close your eyes and say humanity and God don’t exist it is your prerogative but to me it is as clear as it can be both physically and spiritually. You may deny the connection to the body because of political reasons but you can’t deny the physical and spiritual realities of humanity and God.
Our politics of belonging to our groups is a powerful phenomenon and has power to make us believe in alternating realities related political world. Your belonging groups can claim all they want but the proof is in the pudding. There are a whole lot of melting pot societies around the world politically functioning without any glitches. Sure it is not perfect but people are able to live in peace regardless of their back ground. On the other extreme people kill each other because they are taught to believe their group is exclusive and special. There color, race, gender, nation, religion and even God is exclusive. Now someone has to be wrong because our nature or God has been pointing towards the universality of life all along. A good person is good regardless of where they are form meaning spirituality is universal and you don’t even have to be religious to be spiritual, but the politics of our belonging has always been in the way for us to recognize that. Our awareness of what we are made of, how we function, what helps or hurts us, clearly points towards similarities and sameness yet unfortunately we still are entangled with our political identities.
Scientifically we are evolving to the point that we are able to connect our brewing weather extremes with Global Warming. Medically we have known the importance and potential benefits of blood transfusion for a long time regardless of oppositions of religious people. We are making advances to save lives with stem cell research and by breaking down genetic code of everything. Modern day infectious diseases like Coronavirus is an other example which is pointing towards and insisting for humanity to work together but our politics of belonging makes us ignore everything and we still kill each other with our wars even in the middle of pandemic. Tools like internet and space station is there to help but our politically infected systems abuse them gain ransom money. Our technologies are being used to divide us even further and it is all because of powerful political belonging to our groups. We are connected to each other as human beings meaning physically we are connected to humanity as a whole and spiritually we are connected to God as a whole.
If individually your sense of belonging related politics has you under its influences you will have real hard time changing your belief system, always remember we resist belonging to humanity and God as a whole just because of our group politics. If your group says you are only safe with us, you are sold a politically twisted half truth. If you are insecure and are seeking security, you are not alone. Our mortality makes it all normal to be fearful of death but regardless of our fears our mortality has never changed. Whether we belong to our groups or to humanity as a whole, believe in God or not still it would not change until we conquer mortality. So far it has not happened so if a group claims that they are securing you, it is a political game we all buy into. Religions take it even a step further by promising you a spot in the heaven after you die but with political conditions. Remember strength in numbers related politics is very common in most religions because they still preach, if you bring someone from other religions you would be rewarded by God. What do you smell? I don’t know about you but I smell politics of strength in numbers.
Just like spirituality our mortality is our universal reality, so claiming to provide security of any and all kind by any group does not make any sense because people get old, sick and die all the time in all kind of groups. We got several politically twisted truths in our societies. To me no one is better than others because of their color, gender, nation or belief system not in your living years not in life after death. If some how you believe that you will go to heaven just because you belong to certain group you will logically have to believe God is prejudicial and discriminatory as well. Now look at the power of the politics of your belonging, it can make you believe even in God’s human like imperfection and impurity which I call an openly committed spiritual crimes by the religions. You are given a whole scenario of hell, heaven and how you should live within the prescribed boundaries of religions. Now you look at your makeup and see if you have any kind of limitations from God, simply look at your imagination and ability to create whatever you think. If your limitations were from God you would not have migrated to concrete jungle. You personally and individually carry your atom of autonomy in every single cell that belong to you. Your umbilical cord has been cut at your birth, you breath your personal and individual quota of oxygen. You live and die with the will of God so where does your belonging group stand for you in this holy picture? Becoming aware of that would dictate your significance or insignificance for you from you within your living years. God never intended for human to be insignificant its our politicians whether they are from religions or not they wanted to control the populations. More insecure, irrelevant and insignificant the individual feels the better for them because they know weaker individuals would seek to attach themselves to political group to feel secure.
As I said in the start cell may appear to be insignificant but since the body is made of cells, without cells it is doomed. That is how important you are, but if you yourself believe you mean nothing, its great for the belonging groups because you would be a good subject to be use for even committing spiritual crimes on their behalf. Reality is that not only it will keep you out of heaven in after death it will put you into a living hell by putting you against your own and internal atom of autonomy. Being used politically is a choice because each and every single one of us has free will, personal sense of justice and responsibility to use compassion and love. Especially for this generation we all are born into the era of equal human individual rights where non one is a born sinner and now we are aware of our spiritual importance as well.
Lets bring this same metaphor a little further and dig into spirituality. Now picture God as a human body and human beings as cells. Our job would be to help God function physically and God’s job would be to help and provide us with life sustaining circumstances. Simply the same relationship between you and your cells. They help you and you help them. Since God is the spirit you carry within every cell of you to help you live and function. Your belonging group has nothing to do with it. Remember your group can’t help you because its not the whole body. An arm or leg or even their cells can’t claim that they function without the help of a functioning body. Politics of belonging groups has us believed that we are not secure without our groups yet in reality majority of our civil, social and spiritual crimes against us are committed by the people of the same belonging group. Sure we have group conflicts but if we evolve to the point where everything is pure of group politics, we will be able to accept ourselves as an individual physically belonging to humanity as a whole and spiritually belonging to same and one God. That is why spirituality has always been, is and will always be between individual and God. Logically if you look at our religions they have started with the individual’s connection to God and grew from there along with our problems related to our political belonging. We are still suffering from the main culprit and yes that is our politics of belonging. Regardless of spiritual education a religion provides to the individual our group politics has always prevailed. Individual and collective spirituality has always lost when it came to the politics of belonging. Humanity has been suffering from religious disputes and wars for thousands of years not because spirituality has no place in humanity, its because spirituality and politics simply don’t mix. As I said before spirituality is between individual and God directly because every single one of us has been blessed with our personal atom of autonomy. That God particle comes with God like abilities, our free will, personal sense of justice, compassion and ability to love all belong to our atom of autonomy related spiritual side. You can be taken over by the politics of belonging and lose out spiritually. Whether your group is a gang, race, nation or a religion, if they are able to overpower you as an individual, you have been spiritually compromised because as a human being you have been blessed with free will to choose.
A religion suppose to provide a spiritual path but looking at the history, most religions and these days even the Buddhists are killing in the name of religion. Which I believe has been and still is all political. This new Palestine and Israel conflict is not new, the problem of religions is, that they all have strayed from the spirituality and let the politics of belonging to their groups call the shots just to give a bad name to religion and God. If even our religions have sold their souls to the Devil of politics, how can the ordinary individual achieve spiritual satisfaction following them? As I said spirituality is between God and individual directly so our solutions lie within that connection as well. If we all individually become a CEO of our life we can question even our belonging groups motives. Otherwise ball will role as it has been rolling for thousands of years. Since we have always kept the individual as irrelevant. As groups we can’t overcome our politics, if the individual becomes important and choose not to follow the political whims of groups the fuel of that fire will refuse to take part. If there is no fuel of individual groups can’t carry on with their politics. This is an era of equal human rights so if everyone individually stands up, we can extinguish the fire of even thousands of years old conflicts. Remember politics and spirituality can’t be mixed, our Middle East conflict is a living example of it. Religions have been trying to go back and forth just to kill each others individuals. I call them God’s working hands so it is all against God’s will even if it is touted as if it is all for God.
If you seek and discover your personal atom of autonomy and related free will, personal and unbiased sense of spiritual justice. You will reach at the spiritual level of where you would learn not to do to others what you would not like done to you or to your loved ones. You would be able to put yourself on the receiving end of your action before you act, and you will be able to fit yourself in others shoes to see how difficult it is to walk. Being that spiritual is not that easy especially if everyone around is in the business of robbing love in the name of their belonging groups. In my opinion if you believe you are stronger and safer because of your belonging group, you are looking at it politically not spiritually. Remember your personal and individual line of defense is your oxygen and functioning of internal and external spaces and non of that is secured by your belonging group because its way above their pay grade. Sure they can pray for you but your real and spiritual well being is between you and God. No matter how you cut it, your spiritual comfort in your mortal skin does not come from your political belonging. Since we are all taught to believe otherwise and yes unfortunately even by our religions, we all have to dig deep inside of ourselves to seek and discover God to be spiritual. They talk about God outside of you but totally ignore your atom of autonomy. Not utilizing or even understanding your atom of autonomy can create a living hell for the individual and all from within. Remember we have been blessed with the free will and that makes us all responsible for our actions. Even if you are taught that anything you do for your religion would take you to heaven can be questionable because you are not dead yet. Our first challenge is to understand ourselves. Without our atom of autonomy we are just like any other creature, so knowing about our atom of autonomy related spiritual jewelry stands us apart from the lineup of other creatures. We are not exclusively physical nor we are exclusively spiritual so we are a unique blend of God like entity who takes spirituality from God and converts it into physical actions to give a physical sound to this spiritual clap, meaning human individual’s importance is undeniable. Unfortunately we provide that same physicality to Devilish actions as well so what goes on within us is highly influenced by our education. You can use your atom of autonomy to find spirituality or you can ignore what goes on within and follow the politics of belonging, stay irrelevant and get used by it.
I know I am keep repeating that politics and spirituality don’t mix so to me if you do you become political and by being political you may lose your atom of autonomy related spiritual side. If you can’t use your free will, personal sense of justice, compassion and ability to love, not only you would end up selling your individual soul to the politics of belonging, you would not be able to call yourself a complete human being. Being a complete human being you have to have a functioning spiritual side otherwise you may end up standing against equal human individual rights, become prejudiced, discriminatory and do to others what you would not like done to you or to your loved ones. Sure you would carry on living but it would be short of your spiritual side which can lead of an unfulfilled living experience in certain departments of life. Internal conflicts related dissatisfaction and related unhappiness is a very heavy price to pay especially if you are a mortal. Establishing relationship with God is through spiritual reciprocation and you can’t learn about it if your spiritual side is overridden by the politics of belonging. If you choose to believe in the political side of religion you may believe you would go to heaven after you die but live in a living hell because of internal conflicts. Unfortunately we don’t look at our direct connection with God simply because of what we have been preached and taught at our tender years, so we don’t individually believe in ourselves as being an integral part of the holy picture and lose a lot more than just spiritual importance we lose self respect and self-esteem as well yet we are the biggest miracle of God we convert every spiritual thing into physical actions. If we are lacking self respect and self-esteem, feel irrelevant and insignificant it is not from God it is from the political preaching of our political groups so they can have political control over the ordinary individual. Reality is that an individual is not only the blood and life of group we supply our hands, backs and shoulders to God as well to keep the ball physically rolling. Not knowing ourselves is our personal and individual deficiency so over coming it, is our individual responsibility as well.
Individual importance is easily respected by the most individuals if it is reciprocated yet our group politics always undermines it and takes us away not only from spirituality and God it robs us of our communal peace simultaneously. So starting from the bottom up can brings us all not only closer to each other and create peace externally it can bring us closer to spirituality and God to create internal peace as well. Middle East conflict has been going on for three thousand years and has been robbing love from all sides to keep the perpetual killing going. Sure its called religious conflict but to me the real culprit is the politics of belonging to our groups. I believe if a religion sales its soul to the politics its spirituality simply takes a hike and if we all are infected with the politics of belonging to our groups we can never be without our conflict. As an individual we simply are spiritually bankrupt if we can’t use our personal sense of justice. As an individual we all are blessed with the it yet we don’t use it when our politics takes over us. Remember prejudice and discrimination runs in the blood of insecure individual because they believe strength in numbers and they are not spiritual enough to understand that their actions are their personal responsibility. Groups keep preaching about their importance to provide falls security and weaker individuals keep buying into it because they alone they have no spiritual principles. As a spiritually impotent individual we will keep buying what is sold to us regardless of our high level of education in other departments. If we individually learn about our importance and stand as a Godly representative, only then we can bring God and spiritual values to the forefront otherwise its going to be same old group politics and nothing but.
Knowing human progress even by looking at this particular conflict and within my life time I saw Palestinians throwing rocks at the tanks, suicide bombing to Israel building security wall to simple rockets hitting nothing to now hitting deep into Israel regardless of its Iron dome technology. What do you see in the future? I consider myself a natural optimist but this progression tells me about the chaos no wall can stop so to me its time to think beyond the politics of sense of belonging to our groups. Its time to give and receive equal human individual rights and individually believe in it. Its time not to do to anyone what we don’t like done to us or to our loved ones. Its time to see human individual as God’s working hand and understand the value of human being and see killing each other is damaging to God. Its time learn more about our atom of autonomy and related free will, personal sense of justice, compassion and love. Its time to bring it all the way down to the individual so we all can become a CEO of our lives and decide to keep the politics of belonging in check. Its time to take responsibility of our individual actions so we don’t commit spiritual crimes in the name of our groups even if it is our religion. Its time to learn all about the prejudice and discrimination and yes it is an individual thing for all of us because we are created as a CEOs of our life by nature and even our groups and religions are the departments of our individual life.
Our groups always preach multi pal individual identities to use them politically. From gender, individual name, surname, tribe, color, race, nationality and religion all come before even being a human being. Sure it is understood automatically to us but our spiritual identity has been undermined by most of us because we believe in all our other identities before being a spiritual entity. Being political comes first, which means our group comes before us. This automatically creates individual insignificance yet all the group progress starts with the belonging individual’s creative imagination. In most oppressive societies individuals don’t have importance to the point that they can’t ask for individual rights. It is quite common to see whenever we ask its always about group rights as if we already know individually we are not going to get individual rights. Its unfortunate but it has been and still is related with our group politics, but today we are in a different era. Today equal human individual rights are asked throughout the world. Sure old style politics still stands in the way and we are still entangled with our thousands of years old disputes and wars. Pessimistically speaking most people don’t see any solution for our unending disputes especially if we keep doing and believing in the same thing. If we switch everything upside down and ask for equal human individual rights in the whole humanity. Not only we would be able to solve our group disputes it will end our prejudice and discrimination, the fundamental cause of our problems. Remember asking for group rights is going to keep us in the same political limbo and we would never get out of our groups related political disputes. Not to long ago it would be idealistic to ask equal human individual rights in the presence of hundreds of nations and religions but it is happening because it is easier for us individually to give and receive equal human rights.
As nations and religions we are founded on the principles of being better than others, meaning openly believing and preaching prejudice and discrimination. It would be practically impossible to treat each other equally for political reasons so there is no way as groups we can trust each other. In group settings equal rights would simply be a political suicide for the controlling authorities so they always push their weight around and things never change. Simply if you ask for group rights it would not solve the real problem of prejudice and discrimination because if you get group rights potentially you would start to discriminate against others as well so humanity would go in circles as it has been doing for thousands of years.
What is United Nation and why humanity can’t reach and find peace? Our main reasons are that we can’t keep our religions and justice systems pure of politics. For instance even our United Nation has a veto system, just look at it what does it really mean? It means only a few nations can call the shots so even our top organization can’t function without political influences. Meaning it is not pure of influences. Sure it is good to have an entity like a justice department for humanity but if it does not have police department to enforce any rule what good it is and especially if it is not for all it is biased and impotent when it comes to justice. Remember justice should not be mixed with politics you can see what happened United States when Trump influenced justice department, People lose their trust in justice if it is for sale or politically influenced. Today most religions have lost their respect because people can see how politics and spirituality has been mixed and God has been used to control people politically. If we want equal human individual rights they should not only be limited to certain nations or groups they should be universal. Sure I believe it can be done, may not be in my life time but I hope humanity keeps progressing and reach to that level of evolution where equal human individual rights prevail. Remember we came from bush and cave to communities to nations to religions, to kingdoms to Empires to communism to socialism to democracy and hopefully something better like one humanity with one justice system based on equal human individual rights and a United Nation which does not sweep our conflicts under the political rug for seventy years and let people suffer and die.
IMAGINE IF WE BELIEVE IN THE SAME GOD AND PURPOSE OF OUR WORSHIPING IS SAME THEN WHY CAN’T WE PRAY IN PEACE? BEFORE YOU GO DEEP INTO THE POLITICS, SIMPLY ASK YOURSELF INDIVIDUALLY WHY? MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE POLITICS OUT OF YOUR SPIRITUALITY BECAUSE AS AN INDIVIDUAL YOU ARE THE ONE WHO CALLS THE SHOTS. EVERYTHING STARTS FROM THE INDIVIDUAL AND I BELIEVE IT CAN BE ENDED BY THE INDIVIDUALS AS WELL. FOR INSTANCE IF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US BECOMES A CEO OF OUR LIFE WE WOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP OUR SPIRITUAL SIDE STRONG AND HEALTHY ENOUGH TO STOP OURSELVES FROM ACTING OUT EMOTIONALLY JUST BECAUSE OUR GROUPS ARE CALLING FOR IT. BEFORE WE BECOME PART OF A MOB WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THAT THE INDIVIDUAL ON THE RECEIVING END MAY BE INNOCENT BECAUSE BEING BORN IN CERTAIN RACE, GENDER NATION OR RELIGION IS OUT OF EVERYONE’S CONTROL. SO LOGICALLY INDIVIDUAL CAN’T BE PUNISHED JUST BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY LOOK OR BELIEVE. A SIMPLE SOLUTION FOR THAT WOULD BE, IF YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL ENVISION YOURSELF BEING ON THE RECEIVING END OF YOUR ACTIONS BEFORE YOU ACT WHICH WOULD MEAN YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY AWARE. OTHERWISE YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR SPIRITUAL SIDE UP FOR THE POLITICS OF BELONGING. I HAVE MENTIONED THAT GOD AND SPIRITUALITY ARE UNIVERSAL AND BELONGING TO GROUPS EVEN IF THEY ARE OUR RELIGIONS WITHOUT HEALTHY SPIRITUALITY WOULD BE POLITICAL. BEING A GOOD AND DECENT HUMAN INDIVIDUAL IS UNIVERSAL AND BEING PREJUDICIAL AND DISCRIMINATORY IN THE NAME OF OUR GROUPS IS POLITICAL. NOW ASK YOURSELF, WHERE DO YOU PERSONALLY STAND AND WHERE DO FEEL YOUR INDIVIDUAL DISCONNECTION IS? IF YOU HONESTLY LOOK FOR IT, YOU WILL NOT FIND IT IN YOUR SPIRITUAL SIDE BUT POLITICS OF YOUR BELONGING IS FULL OF IT.
IF YOU BELIEVE IN EQUAL HUMAN INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, FOLLOW ONE PERSON ONE VOTE RELATED DEMOCRACY AND WORK AGAINST PREJUDICE AND DISCRIMINATION TO ACHIEVE EQUAL HUMAN INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. WE CAN PERSONALLY AND DIRECTLY CONNECT TO GOD REGARDLESS OF OUR RELIGIONS. SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT OUR RELIGIONS POTENTIALLY CAN BECOME THE DEMISE OF HUMANITY ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE POLITICAL. THEY CAN BE THE SAVIORS OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND HUMANITY AS A WHOLE IF THEY DON’T MIX GROUP POLITICS OF BELONGING AND STICK WITH UNIVERSAL THINGS LIKE SPIRITUALITY EXCLUSIVELY.
