If you are seeking the answers in the texts written thousands of years ago, you just have to look at the present scientific advances and compare them with the knowledge provided. Both are not able to give you the perfection you are seeking. It is simple to understand that the human beings are no where close to be a finished product.
Regardless of all the religious knowledge provided to us and for thousands of years of evolution we still find a little boy dead facing down on the beach trying to escape from the religious extreme.
In thousands of years we have not and can’t clearly understand or see God as an obvious entity, it’s just because we have been looking at God as an outside and separate entity from us. If God was that obvious then nothing would be done through the mankind. Yet from miraculous healings to technological advances to the knowledge of biology merging with computer to predicting the path of the storms, all kind of knowledge in all fields have everything to do with the man. The man who is seeking perfection and thus progressing and making advances regardless of the presence of imperfections.
As an individual we have a mortal life ,so seeking perfection all the time should be harnessed because perfection is not worth the life or even the health but our sense of belonging makes us live in living hell.
For instance in a relation ship if you think outside of the social norms, you can clearly see a perfect stranger comes in your life and helps you to live life easier. Your wife, husband, boyfriend or girlfriend accompany you to remove your loneliness, paying for you, offering you their bodies, bring you the passionate and even the instinctive love by giving you the children. (Read Love triangle). As a mortal these are the most valuable things one can have, and you just throw it all away because of your sense of belonging to the society you let it dictate your happiness and contentment. Picture if you would have been born five thousands years ago or five hundred years from now how would you perceive your life. Would you be breaking up a relationship over other people’s opinions. What is right or wrong for you, ultimately it is not society’s decision it lands on your shoulders.
People live in all kind of circumstances or religious settings, Canadian government could not win a human rights issue in the court of the law. The hijab or nikaab is one thing we have polygamy and other religious or non religious ways of living right in the middle of our so called civilized society. We just can’t trampled anyone’s rights ironically Gay marriage and sexual freedom come under the same confusing equal human rights law which protects both sides of extreme but you would not hear from conservatives about the polygamy because it is all about the politics of sense of belonging. We have to respect the differences but when it comes to violating someone’s rights with our extreme beliefs we have to resort to our being a human being first. Don’t do to the others what you don’t like done to you.
Each and everyone of us is capable of living beyond that prison so why you don’t or would not. Be a CEO and break those chains of unhappiness and decide for yourself that your life is temporary and the accumulation of the happy moments is and should be the goal. Trends, friends, customs, traditions, religious and social rules or norms should be for the convenience of a mortal individual not for the hardship, unhappiness and discontentment. If you are causing the hardships or robbing your own happiness because of your sense of belonging over ride it because you are the one who is driving your car.
Several years ago I was watching TV and stumbled upon, Dr. Wayne Dyer, speaking about the four levels of human evolution. I don’t remember the whole thing but I would try what I understood from him. He said and I” Quote ”
First level is owning, we all learn to own, as a child we learn this is my mom, my dad, my home, my toy, my food or best friend etc.
Second we compare and claim mine is better than yours.
Third is that what is in it for me.
Fourth level is that we start to ask what can I do for you”? End Quote.
If you look at the spiritual and social levels our religions have helped us to evolve, and if you look at everything else we have scientists to thank for. Where our science and technology is going we still have to discover a lot more than we know.
Religiously and socially we are stuck in the rut of level two where we compete and say to each other that mine is better whether it is a religion, nation race, or even these days gender. Just like the child we don’t really know but we assume and claim our religion, nation, race, gender or even everything we own is some how better than others. Where did this all come from, did we bring it with us or we learnt from our belonging groups. I believe it is taught because as babies we don’t discriminate.
Why do we passionately think that we somehow are better than others just because we are Muslim, Christian, Jew, White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Male, Female or in-between. Why? and who installed this knowledge into us? if it is because of the politics, its our knowledge, not our nature so we can over come this knowledge with knowledge, I am attempting make my case to achieve that by this writing. People don’t like to be told what to do until it comes to religions and nationalism they can hate the imprisonment but gladly put themselves in their own prison of the sense of belonging.
Until we discover our self-worth as an individual we can’t discover the God inside of us. If we keep thinking that God is some outside entity we will always think that God is all mighty and majestic but we ourselves are worthless and insignificant. If we think we are the work horse or a cell of God the self esteem would rise, then and only then we can, not only have self respect we would respect the person next to us as an equal because we would be able to see God in them.
Who benefits from our being weak is always the other human beings, and its done through the politics of sense of belonging. The perception of God has been confusing for the best of the human minds, some buy it whole heartedly and some downright deny the very existence of God.
In order to believe in God all you have to do is to look at yourself. If you don’t respect yourself or feel inadequate because of deep insecurities, you have got to look at God from the different angle than your religions have been preaching.
If you are an atheist, just question yourself, are you just being rebellious or your belief system is a reaction to the people enforcing you to believe what you can’t see?
Remember if you learn something new regularly you are not done, are not complete and would not be a finished product until you have reached your potential so no human has completed his/her knowledge. Denying or believing in the existence of God one hundred percent is an assumption because we are in the process of evolution to reach our potential. We are using a fraction of our brain powers, the proof is in the pudding because we are always inventing and learning new things all the time.
Religions preach that God is everything and the human is meaningless in the grand scheme of life. Just remember that it takes a single cancer cell to start the cancer which can bring down the whole human body. Just like the body you are part of the God. Human has to exist in order for God to exist because without the human being everything comes crashing down.
Picture yourself as if you are a bottle of alcohol and the alcohol inside of you is God which makes you dance, if you feel drunk from it, it is your provocative, but you can’t be drunk and driving, or killing others because someone told you that others don’t belong to the God or God does not exist in them. If you are a functioning human being there is a reason, a purpose and a need for you to be alive.
Everyone, just like you, carry the God molecule which keeps the body functioning, if God or the body is damaged to the point that it can’t sustain life, we as an individual die. We as humanity is evolving the God to the next level, we are discovering and creating new things to enhance life. Some may say we are heading to destruction I feel optimistic about our growth.
Religions and science can drive the individual to be a drunk to the point that one can become crazy, and it’s all about the assumptions until we reach our full potential knowledge.
If you believe that you are a part of the process and potential God, your belief system can change and bring you into deeper spiritual awareness, make you humble and full of wisdom of living and loving life. Logically as a living individual with the free will each and every one of us has the responsibility of self-first to survive, because we are more useful for the God’s work alive, it’s second that we have the responsibility for the society or God.
Why do we have such extremes when it comes to our religions? It’s not only a religious phenomenon, it shows up in our customs, traditions and even our social or medical and scientific knowledge as well. The cause of all this is the ego, which is one of the child of our sense of belonging. Our ego whether it’s related with the individual or society, cuts us both ways, it can help us to excel but at the same time it hurts us by slowing us down and keeping us behind in our evolutionary process.
