I know I may sound repetitive, but I want to clarify once again that the purpose of my writing is not to encourage people to adopt any particular religious belief system. My goal is for everyone to find the spiritual essence within their religion so they can transcend its political aspects. If we do this, we can stop killing each other in the name of God. It is because we, as individuals, give life to the politics that drive groups to war. Since we have all been blessed with free will, we also have the power not to use God for political purposes. At the very least, we should refrain from tarnishing God’s name by prioritizing group politics over spirituality.
We are responsible not only for managing our personal affairs but also for caring about how our groups rob others of their peace of mind—literally. As evolved individuals, we all have the ability to think and take responsibility for our actions, even if those actions are influenced by politics or our own instincts. As human beings, we are still individually responsible for the consequences of our actions. I believe in the universality of human knowledge—like one God, blind justice for everyone, and spirituality that transcends all religious beliefs. Ultimately, the responsibility falls on our individual shoulders. Period.
If everyone were able to rise above group loyalties, we would find the peace that humanity has longed for over thousands of years.
My writings are meant for those who have blindly bought into a philosophy of “carrot and stick” and have sold their individual souls to the groups they belong to. Remember, God blessed each and every one of us with our own exclusive atom of autonomy. If you believe you have become a better human being simply because you follow a certain religious belief or were born into a particular race, color, gender, or nation, you are wrong. Period. Especially in today’s era, if you hold such beliefs, you are automatically becoming a bigot, prejudiced, and discriminatory. These labels are far from flattering.
We all must earn our place by taking charge of our actions during our lifetimes. We must understand the responsibilities that come with being human. This includes reciprocity—the understanding that every action has an impact. Being born into a particular race, nation, or religion does not make anyone superior. It is our actions, and how we nurture our spiritual side, that define us as evolved human beings.
Race, color, gender, nation, or belief system does not dictate superiority because we are all born the same way. We all need oxygen, food, and love to survive and thrive. We all grow old, get sick, and die in the same manner. We are hurt by the same things. So, while our physical appearances may differ, spiritually, we all experience life, pain, and joy in similar ways.
If you have bought into the politics of your group’s superiority, you must reconnect with your atom of autonomy. Politics may convince you that you are better than others, but if you strip away those beliefs, you will find that not only are you liberated from politics, but you will also be spiritually enlightened. You will discover that you came into this life with all the tools you need. With your atom of autonomy, you have the ability to use your free will and your sense of justice simultaneously.
You may find this repeated throughout my blog, but it must be said: If you can envision yourself on the receiving end of your actions and you don’t like what you see, it’s a spiritual crime. You should not do to others what you wouldn’t want done to you or your loved ones. If your actions harm someone because of your group’s education, yet you possess free will and a sense of justice, as an evolved human being, you are to blame—not your education or your group. This is because we all have the ability to question everything we’ve been taught. Remember, we are genetically human beings, not worker bees or warrior ants.
One of the major challenges humans face is the preached politics of belonging to a group instead of belonging to humanity as a whole. Our ingrained knowledge from a young age forms the foundation of prejudice and discrimination, and every group is guilty of this form of brainwashing. As we grow and develop free will and a personal sense of justice, we begin to see the discrepancies between political and spiritual teachings. Physically, mentally, and spiritually removing ourselves from the politics of limited group identity to embrace the entirety of humanity and God becomes a personal and individual duty.
Choosing to take control of your life will set you on the path to becoming a spiritually aware and responsible human being. With those responsibilities, we will understand the universality of God, the physicality of humanity, and the spiritual system that governs it all. Humanity will never escape the politics of prejudice and discrimination until the constitutions of the world prioritize human physical realities over metaphorical ones. No matter how much you want to elevate God and your group above everything else, you must learn the difference between physical and metaphorical realities.
Metaphorical realities are called that because they are not fully understood in the same way we understand physical realities. Metaphorical realities cannot be proven with repeatable results. Therefore, our justice systems must be built on solid, physical foundations. Remember, our elected leaders are reflections of our societies. If they lie for political purposes and still get elected, society must question itself. If people believe in lies, they deserve the leaders they get. Logically, if you remove spiritual principles from your governing system, your justice system loses its meaning.
When an individual is under the influence of group politics, their loyalties can fluctuate based on their emotional state. They cannot comprehend or reason with truth and justice because their spiritual principles are not guiding them. Their political leaders have created an altered version of truth for them.
Interestingly, we have nearly two hundred nations with conflicting populations and thousands of religions, each with their own exclusive justice systems. Yet, real justice should be like spirituality and the concept of one God — it must be universal. If justice is exclusive to a certain group of people, it simply can’t be universal; it becomes tainted by the politics of belonging. Spiritual principles, like equal human rights, can only be realized when we, both individually and collectively, become spiritually aware. If you belong wholeheartedly to humanity rather than to any particular group, you will be able to see how human beings and even God are manipulated for political purposes.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, whether it’s religion or a nation, these are all political entities that continue to serve the same old political interests of their respective groups. We must leave behind the politics of our past because we live in an era not only of equal human rights but one in which we have become progressively more dangerous with our weaponry. The old ways of political belonging did not, and do not, benefit humanity as a whole. Religion and other forms of political identity have already taken a devastating toll on humanity. We can’t even begin to count the death toll caused by political and religious conflicts.
If we each consider ourselves spiritually aware, we should be honest, unbiased, independent, and strong. Remember, individually, we are entities in a class of our own, working from the bottom up instead of the top down. This means that we are above the worker bees, warrior ants, or other creatures that operate based on genetic commands. We, as humans, possess our own imagination, the ability to think independently, a personal sense of justice, and free will. We can judge, love, and be compassionate all at once, guided by the inner callings of our own hearts. As independent and honest beings, we have the ability to filter out all kinds of hidden political agendas, even those related to our genetic predispositions or instincts.
We can make sense of spiritual truths as individuals. Always remember, the politics of belonging to groups prevents us from reaching real truth, justice, spirituality, and even God. It distorts everything into politically tainted truths, leading to bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination. It is not the group but rather the individual who becomes a bigot, prejudiced, or discriminatory. As independent and responsible entities, we must seek out the truth and discover the real meaning of being human.
I consider myself a genuine proponent of equal human rights and have no political interests beyond advocating for equality and justice above religious beliefs. I feel compelled to explain why I am so passionate about the idea that the politics of belonging to our respective groups is one of the primary causes of individual and social ills. I believe that understanding the authority of our spiritual side is crucial. Even though religions often begin where human logic fails, as modern human beings, we should seek what makes logical sense before blindly diving into metaphorical realities.
When it comes to groups — whether they are gangs, communities, nations, or religions — we should ask, “How do they work, and what holds them together?” To me, they are like fabric made of threads. If you pull out one or two threads, the fabric remains intact. But if you keep pulling threads, the entire fabric will eventually lose its integrity and disintegrate. Races, nations, religions, and even the concept of God are dependent on living, breathing human beings to maintain their integrity and perform physical actions. Logically, if you remove all human beings from the picture, like pulling threads, everything falls apart. Some might argue that there is a world beyond death, but have you ever seen what happened to the treasures of the Egyptian Pharaohs? According to belief, God may continue after we die, but that’s after death, and no one really knows the physicality of that world. Religions preach about it, but we don’t come back after we die. Sure, there are beliefs in reincarnation, heaven, and hell, but since these are metaphorical and can’t be proven like the physical facts of life, we should at least place them beneath our physical, scientifically repeatable realities.
If you start to believe in the physicality of everything that happens after death, you can believe whatever you want. But when it comes to depriving someone of their physical reality based on your metaphorical beliefs, that is not spiritual. You wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of such actions. If you don’t accept the responsibilities of being human, you must physically explain and defend your beliefs. Because that world naturally belongs to the metaphorical realm, no one can provide repeatable facts. I wouldn’t even want to engage in an argument about that world because arguing over what is unclear is based on assumptions, and assumptions, whether for or against, lead nowhere. Logically and physically, no one comes back to tell us the real story of what happens after we die.
Every group of people has its ancestral footprints and related stories, which they follow because of a sense of belonging. They are politically pressured to remain loyal to whatever they’ve been taught. But in the present era, things are changing quickly because the world has become a global village, a melting pot of human knowledge.
As spiritually aware individuals, we are often willing to give if we receive those equal human rights. This might hold true at the individual level, but within groups, it’s a different game entirely. When politics gets involved, things get murky — even in our religious beliefs. When a group feels threatened by losing power, it may create chaos or, at the very least, find itself in a political bind. Logically speaking, the individual thread holds the fabric together. If things start to unravel at the individual level, groups can create distractions, reigniting old disputes or wars with other groups to renew loyalty among their members. Again, this is purely political.
Religions and nations are upheld by the physical efforts of their individuals. Yet, they often make individuals feel irrelevant. To see the true, logical strength of a group, try removing the physical presence of human individuals and observe what happens to our gangs, communities, nations, religions, and even God and the Devil. If nothing gets done physically, they cease to have meaning. In other words, if you pull out all the threads, the fabric — in this case, our group, nation, religion, or even God and the Devil — will collapse. If you don’t give credit where it’s due, that’s not spiritual — it’s political. Blaming the Devil or crediting God for human actions reeks of politics. Just look at who benefits — you will find it’s a group of people, not an individual, God, or the Devil. It’s all politically arranged so human groups can evade responsibility for the bad things they do to each other.
Don’t forget that, as human beings, we all carry our own atom of autonomy, which allows us to use our free will to make choices. Now look at how nations and religions have treated their individuals. They put God and the Devil at the top of the triangle, making the individual seem irrelevant. Equal human rights bring the individual to the forefront and put things in a spiritual perspective. This is why some conservative societies cling to bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination, even as modern humanity points toward equal human rights as the solution to these problems. If you work against equal human rights, you’re doing so for your group’s political purposes. Remember, your spiritual side makes you aware that you have your own sense of justice. So, don’t do to others what you wouldn’t want done to you or your loved ones.
Sure, we need politics, but robbing individuals in the name of religion and God is absurd. This political game has been played for far too long, and it’s time to change it from the bottom up. We need to evolve beyond our sense of belonging so that humanity can take the next step in its evolution — where individuals are responsible enough not to be used as worker bees or warrior ants by their groups. A human individual cannot be irrelevant because believing otherwise strips them of self-respect and self-esteem. When you lose self-esteem, you become ripe for political manipulation. That is why our races, nations, and religions have been able to use individuals and even God for political purposes.
Whether you’re a racist, nationalist, gender-biased, or religious extremist, we are all human beings. And as human beings, we cannot be proud of behaving like worker bees or warrior ants because they are not as evolved as we are. We have the power to make decisions because we carry our own atom of autonomy, which allows us to use our free will and exercise our personal sense of justice. Tremendous responsibilities rest on our individual shoulders. Look at the education provided by our groups and see how we are taught to believe and behave. We are compared to bees, ants, lions, and eagles based on our actions. But if you think about those who take and never give back, a human being can become like a parasite — and take pride in it. Remember, this kind of pride is instilled in us by our groups for political purposes. If we let it dictate our behavior, we are not following what God intended for us. Ask yourself, why do you act according to the desires of your group when God has blessed you with your own atom of autonomy, which allows you to judge and filter out the politics of others?
As the CEO of your life, you have the power to challenge everything you are taught. You must be aware of who you truly are. As a human being, you are designed to be a CEO with many responsibilities. This means you are responsible not only for your actions but for their consequences. Unlike other creatures, we cannot hide behind our nature, God, the Devil, or our groups. Our atom of autonomy resides within us, allowing us to judge and reward or punish ourselves. In other words, you can’t cheat yourself, but as human beings, we still try.
If you don’t understand something, you cannot place it as the foundation of any governing or political system, especially within a justice system. A concept as spiritual as justice should transcend human emotions or our emotionally charged, metaphorical realities. Some may argue that God should be above all physical matters based on their beliefs, but remember: if you cannot explain God or God does not manifest when called upon, this presents a significant problem—especially in a courtroom.
The laws and systems of governance, including those related to religious beliefs, are—at their core—created for the individual. Whether to control, help, or protect, they become a necessity but still operate as political systems. This is why political governments and spiritual beliefs should remain separate, to ensure that our constitutions and justice systems rest on solid foundations, free from spiritual ambiguity. If any system is influenced by the politics of belonging, then logically, it serves some but not all human beings equally. Therefore, it cannot come from God, blind justice, or universal spirituality. Any political system influenced by the politics of belonging is separate from spirituality and should not be confused with it.
Should we allow the politics of belonging to our groups to overshadow the importance of our physical realities in the name of metaphorical ones? Of course not. This political taint renders the individual irrelevant, allowing the group to maintain power. Right or wrong is not the question here—if politics influences a system, it is not divine or spiritual and should never be preached as such. When politics dominates individuals or communities, spirituality is often sidelined. Each of us grows up under some degree of political misinformation and its related influences, making questioning our groups more challenging. However, in today’s societies, this has changed. The growing popularity of equal human rights has ushered in a new era, one that promotes our belonging to humanity rather than our groups. This shift is new and more acceptable to individuals unless they have been brainwashed to think otherwise, like worker bees or warrior ants. The spiritual awareness of give and take is playing a crucial role in modern individual rights.
For the first time, individuals are asserting their relevance, even standing against governments and religions. Individuals are becoming CEOs of their lives. Questioning authority is no longer out of reach, causing panic among those in power. With internet access, ordinary people are more aware of global happenings and how others live. This awareness is prompting people to question everything—not only the politics of belonging but also the power of groups, nations, and religions. Today, except for a few, most people understand how political influences work in reality. Remember, assumptions don’t work well in the real world. Films like Avatar or Harry Potter are made for entertainment, not as realities to believe in. In today’s societies, law and justice are based on clearly defined, physical realities. These systems must remain free from political influence.
For instance, if you are born a human, you belong to humanity as a whole. You cannot be categorized as a cat or dog. All of your installed identities—your name, race, gender, education, nationality, religion—are layers added to your core identity. These are already numerous layers. Can you find the human being buried deep inside? If you cannot, you risk becoming prejudiced, discriminatory, or even extremist.
Our metaphorical world is a separate story. Instead of relying on politically influenced religious knowledge, we should focus on our spirituality. Our belief systems should not manipulate individuals to conform to group demands, especially when choosing between logical, physical realities and metaphorical ones. You cannot justify killing an individual over something you believe but cannot explain. No one should override someone’s physical reality with their metaphorical one. Spiritual beliefs must not be used as political tools to control individuals.
If you are seeking help, believe in God spiritually, not politically. Remember, today is not the time to enforce beliefs on others, especially if you cannot explain them yourself. If you believe that the knowledge of your ancestors is the ultimate truth and that everyone else is wrong, today that is called bigotry. The world has moved on to embrace equal human rights, and outdated beliefs are no longer universally accepted. On the other hand, if you struggle to believe that God is responsible for everything, consider this: can you explain your breath, the complex functioning of your body, or favorable life circumstances? Are you in control of everything? If so, why the anxiety, insecurity, discontent, and unhappiness? Where did things go wrong for you?
The problem is that we are often politically persuaded and can even personally believe in extremes. Yet, when facing problems in life, we should look within to discover who we really are. Don’t view your installed identities as ultimate truth. Instead, seek to understand why you are the way you are. Why do you possess your own “atom of autonomy”? Why do you have free will, the ability to make choices, and the capacity to learn and evolve? Unlike genetically programmed creatures, humans can think individually, use imagination, and even be like queen bees themselves. Where does your compassion and love come from? Is it truly taught by your group? If so, why all the killing?
If we are evolving beings, what we do not know now will become clear as we evolve further. But killing each other over imaginary assumptions is not the responsibility of political groups—it is the responsibility of the individual. A group cannot commit atrocities unless its members participate. Therefore, it is our individual responsibility to clear away hormonal and political clutter because we carry our own atoms of autonomy. Looking back at history, we can see how far we’ve come. The responsibilities of the modern individual now surpass the boundaries created by belonging to a group.
Since politics is the game of group belonging, it does not care about the suffering of individuals. We will not stop the killing unless we, as individuals, take responsibility for our actions. Remember, groups are in it for political power—just look at the weapons of mass destruction, constant killings, and wars. We should individually question the politics of group belonging, especially when it involves metaphorical realities.
If you’ve been suffering personally or collectively, don’t you want to know why? Consider this: if you go to court, there are rules to follow. These are different from our morals and ethics, which are based on metaphorical realities. Trying to enforce moral beliefs as laws leads to problems, especially when someone questions God’s existence and God does not appear in court. Our justice system must remain separate because it relies on clearly defined legal boundaries, while morals and ethics are personal and cannot be enforced as laws.
If you cannot understand this, try removing the blindfold of political belonging. Many of us become bigots and prejudiced when we blindly follow ancient knowledge without questioning it. Connecting human insecurity to God is dangerous—do you want to portray God as prejudiced and discriminatory? If so, you are committing a spiritual crime by labeling God as something God is not.
As human beings, we are not yet fully evolved, especially in matters of spirituality. We are often too weak to stand against the wrongdoing of our groups. We prioritize group politics over spiritual principles. Religion often takes precedence over spirituality, and divisions of nation, race, and gender continue to tear us apart. This is due to individual weaknesses, and group politics still overrides spiritual principles like equal human rights and universal belonging. If humanity is still bogged down in conflict and war, we are not where we should be. Our weapons of mass destruction have outpaced our emotional evolution.
Politically aligning God with human biases or group interests should be recognized as a spiritual crime. Using God for political purposes works against God, even when done in God’s name. Over time, this damages the respect people have for God, especially those suffering from politically tainted religions.
Ask yourself: did God create humans as genetically programmed creatures or not? If so, why do we carry our own atom of autonomy? Why do we have free will to override our animal desires? Our atom of autonomy allows us to have control over our actions, not only in terms of free will but also in overcoming political influences. Along with this autonomy comes the ability to sense justice, love, bravery, and compassion.
If you are blindly cheering for your group, even when they are spiritually in the wrong, ask yourself: who are you? If you do not know, then ask questions, seek, discover, and evolve to understand yourself better. Human beings are god-like entities, holding enormous responsibilities on their shoulders, yet too often they surrender their spirituality to group politics. Though you may not grow horns or wings, you are still responsible for your actions—your group is not, for God has endowed you with God-like abilities. Your personal atom of autonomy supersedes the devils and angels of religious stories. Other than natural disasters, you are the one calling the shots in life, before anything good or bad takes physical form.
Without your input, things remain suspended, like a ghost town without people. You are the third part of the spiritual equation—you sit at the top corner because you give physicality to both spirituality and evil actions. If you learn who you truly are, you can create balance in your life; otherwise, the status quo will persist for you and for humanity.
Many of our individual and collective problems stem from being conservative, stuck in the past, while living in a modern era. Hypothetically, our conservative tracks are designed for a train limited to a certain speed. However, today’s train can run at the speed of a bullet, requiring the tracks to be straightened to match the new speed. This metaphor reflects our need to update our personal and collective pathways to keep pace with the rapid changes of today. Every individual or collective derailment of humanity points directly to these mismatched modern-day issues.
If you feel you’re facing any kind of personal derailment, it’s essential to learn about yourself, your education, and the era in which you were born. Dissatisfaction, discontentment, and various mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health issues can all arise from not being fully aware of your own authority. Before you learn about God and spirituality, you must first understand who and what you really are.
One of the most fundamental discussions centers on our physical reality, yet we’re still caught in disputes over metaphorical stories. Even after thousands of years of killing one another, we remain stuck, unable to evolve beyond the politics of belonging-related violence. We’re victims of both our individual weaknesses and our political allegiances. Since each of us is born into the metaphorical footprints of our ancestors, it’s natural to feel loyalty to our groups. However, not fully utilizing the human faculties we possess or allowing ourselves to be manipulated by the politics of belonging is an individual shortcoming. You can’t simply blame God or your group because, logically, you possess your own “atom of autonomy.”
Remember, every path ultimately leads us to our unavoidable “cliff of faith.” The story about what lies beyond this cliff, as told by your group, is not foolproof and is grounded in physical reality. The focus should not be on what’s beyond the cliff but rather on your behavior during the journey of life. The overwhelming need for political approval from our groups, combined with personal insecurities and desires to fit in or be admired, keeps us attached to these groups, regardless of what they believe or whether it’s the truth. The truth is that the politics of belonging often becomes too overwhelming for us to question, particularly when it comes to our personal views of life.
As individuals, if we come to understand our legitimate spiritual side, we can recognize that by God’s design and our natural makeup, we are meant to be the CEOs of our lives. This realization can help us address the serious challenges we face. Becoming the CEO of your own life allows you to discover who you really are and what it means to be a living, breathing human being. It also helps you connect with and resolve the root causes of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health issues. These issues are difficult to address without spiritual awareness, but spiritual knowledge can bring comfort by helping you accept mortality.
Learning to live in a mortal body and navigating the influences of both genetics and politics is the first step in becoming fully human. As individuals, we bear much more responsibility than we’re taught to believe within our groups. Simply attending a mosque, church, or temple won’t be enough. You must examine your physical, political, and spiritual makeup while also acknowledging that you are much more than your group’s political agenda wants you to be. Being unaware of who and what you are has cost many of us our relevance, self-respect, and self-esteem. The politics of belonging has done significant damage to us as individuals. Just look around—despite our so-called evolution, we still don’t have peace on Earth. One prominent reason humanity can’t count its death toll is because, as individuals, we are not using our full potential to evolve.
One of the most common political brainwashing techniques is to make individuals believe they are unworthy of directly connecting with God. But who says that? We are taught to think of ourselves as dirty sinners, forcing us to focus on life after death and constantly worry about what lies beyond the cliff of faith. This allows groups to maintain political power and control individuals like sheep. This kind of education degrades not only our living years but also our capacity to ask questions. Glorifying life after death is a political tactic that exploits individuals and God for political purposes. The carrot-and-stick philosophy is used politically to keep people in line, with hell and heaven functioning as the ultimate carrot and stick. Ironically, this approach assumes God thinks like us, or worse, that we think for God.
Personally, I believe we all hold our own “atom of autonomy.” We are not designed to be like animals, trained through carrot-and-stick methods to perform tricks for our masters. The carrot-and-stick approach, rooted in fear and greed, is politically tainted and cannot be connected to God or spirituality. To me, God is purely spiritual, and mixing God with human politics only creates a biased, political entity. In reality, the relationship between God and the individual is deeply personal and direct, like two electrical wires. Both must be connected to illuminate the light of true spiritual knowledge.
Long ago, I wrote part of a poem in my native language that illustrates this point: “Assin Taar Dey Donvain Han Vul Sajna, Jay Main Nain, Tay Toon Ve Nain Kuj Sajna.
Jay Chanan Nain Maryaan Rattaan De Vitch, Tay Outher Vee Mainu Hanair Detha.”
Translation:
“We are intertwined like two electric wires;
If I am not there, you are not meaningful either.
If there is no light in my nights, I see darkness on the other side as well.”
In short, even though God created everything, including human beings, there’s a reason humans were created with their abilities. God needs the human individual’s physicality to give spirituality a meaningful presence. This highlights the importance of the individual while exposing how political groups work against both God and the individual. Ask yourself, if there were no living human beings, what would be the purpose of God and spirituality? Sure, you might say heaven and hell are real, but they are still metaphorical realities. Groups use religious stories to keep people in line, but that’s a political tool, not a spiritual one.
We humans are equipped with the ability to self-regulate; we don’t need fear and greed to motivate us. Just look at today’s secular societies—crime rates are much lower compared to religious ones. If you are designed to be a spiritual being and let your physical genetics take control, you will act more like an animal and allow evolving genes to override what makes you fully human. Similarly, if you allow your group’s politics to override your autonomy and free will, you are not playing with a full deck of cards provided by God. If you don’t resist your animal desires and follow your group’s politics blindly, you’ll lose appreciation and contentment in life. Denying yourself happiness and contentment, especially as a mortal being, is a mistake. If you’re given free oxygen, a functioning body, and favorable circumstances, yet fail to take control of your life, you are committing a spiritual crime against yourself.
If you are aware of your mortality but cannot find happiness in your living years, you have a problem, and it’s likely connected to the politics of belonging. Happiness and contentment are our ultimate individual goals, and if your sense of belonging is robbing you of these spiritual jewels, you must take charge. You’ve been given the chance to turn spirituality into a physical reality—this is what makes God meaningful. Otherwise, God remains suspended in the air or in your imagination.
The human individual is crucial to this spiritual connection, yet religions often preach the irrelevance of the individual. Logically, this is the opposite of what we’ve been taught to believe. Every group, including religious ones, has been infiltrated by the politics of belonging, and we don’t question it due to fear and greed.
If you think humans would behave better if they were religious, think again. Look at history—religious nations have often killed each other with great passion, and it’s still happening today. Religious societies are also riddled with social and spiritual crimes more than secular ones. Ever wonder why religious spirituality has failed? We are not designed to follow carrot-and-stick rules like other creatures. We need individual knowledge and logic, which we can retain as facts. Secular societies that educate individuals with spiritual principles rather than religious rules have much lower crime rates.
If I asked you what paradise is, you might say it’s a place we go after we die if we’ve lived a good, obedient life. But why do you think that way? If you ask yourself this, you’ll realize we are not only genetically programmed to evolve but also preached to live for the afterlife. This keeps us dissatisfied, always pursuing perfection, while the leaders at the top of the chain reap the benefits of individual sacrifice.
This is more than just the politics of belonging—it’s a way to keep individuals busy and distracted from enjoying life. Groups promote this dissatisfied way of living because, in the name of individual sacrifice, they are the ones who benefit.
So far, we have evolved and changed many aspects of the world and humanity. Yet, we remain individually entangled in a lack of knowledge that undermines our self-respect and self-esteem. Being aware of our personal mortality should teach us that we are responsible not only for controlling our base desires to become better human beings but also for overcoming political limitations. Politically driven thoughts and actions are depriving us of our livelihood. If our lives are influenced by evolution, as mortal beings, we need to override those urges, especially if we want to live a happy and content life. If you spend your entire life in dissatisfaction, you are responsible for that, as you have been blessed with everything needed to overcome what robs you of appreciation, happiness, and contentment. Our lives can be a paradise we reject individually. By overriding the politics of our belonging, ignoring genetic calls, and assuming the role of CEO of our own lives, we can transform our living years into a paradise. Otherwise, we remain in a state of discontent, blindly buying into everything, including false hope, and continuing to commit social and spiritual crimes against one another. This means no heaven in our living years or even after death. Remember, your atom of autonomy is within you, judging everything you do.
There may be a paradise after death, but if you let your evolutionary nature dominate during your lifetime and build a habit of discontent, you may never find happiness, even in the afterlife. Thus, God will find it challenging to please you, as you might continue seeking perfection and finding flaws even in a divine heaven. If you believe paradise will be better than life on earth, I hope so too, but only if you understand the difference between metaphorical fantasies and physical reality. You can better appreciate your life if you learn to count your blessings while you are alive. Otherwise, you might train yourself to be dissatisfied, regardless of whether you are living or beyond.
Our knowledge can extend beyond our lifetime, so we should recognize that it falls into metaphorical realities. Thus, arguing, fighting, or killing each other over it is absurd and nonsensical. If you are emotionally charged about these issues, you are the only one who can address them. Simply remove the politics of group belonging and embrace humanity as a whole. Move beyond religions and embrace spirituality and one God. This spiritual awareness can profoundly transform you.
Always remember that physical facts are our physical realities and should never be subordinated to metaphorical realities. Regardless of what religions preach, they become akin to political parties when they enforce metaphorical realities as physical realities. Each individual is blessed with their own atom of autonomy, which allows us to use free will and a personal sense of justice. While I support the benefits of belief systems, when they become politically tainted to the point of stripping individuals of their spiritual autonomy, the politics of group belonging has gone too far. If your belief system makes you a better person, that’s great, but denying facts and disrespecting others is merely politics of belonging. Your control over group politics is your personal responsibility, so failing to use your God-given blessings of autonomy, free will, and personal justice is a flaw, not a matter of pride. Denying facts and God’s given sense of justice removes you from your spiritual zone and places you in the political realm. If political influences deny spiritual duties, you are responsible for that, as free will is also within your control.
Although human knowledge is highly susceptible to political influences, it should be for the benefit of humanity as a whole. Just as God, spirituality, and true justice are universal, human knowledge should be boundless and accessible to all, regardless of group affiliation. When some people attempt to monopolize knowledge for their group, they mix universal knowledge with political and business interests. If knowledge is preached as a panacea for spirituality, God, and humanity, it is tainted with political interests. Whenever politics or business is mixed with human knowledge, it becomes murky and tainted—good for some, but not for all. Remember, when it comes to God, spirituality, and justice, it is universal. It doesn’t matter the language it is spoken in; what matters is the essence of what is said. Logically, you cannot or should not hide behind God or spirituality if your knowledge is tainted by politics of belonging to certain groups.
Let’s examine current issues like the Ukrainian War, the Iranians demanding freedom, and the Chinese people seeking liberation. Even Saudis flee to Bahrain to escape political oppression. These actions reveal the desire to escape, often hidden but undeniable beneath popular conservative ideologies such as religion and nationalism. As new generations emerge and the number of moderates rises, people are increasingly disobeying old traditions, customs, and rules. Political hypocrisy is on the rise, and humanity is becoming more aware of the need to follow facts and place responsibility on modern individuals. With the influence of the internet, people can see global oppression with their own eyes. As they criticize and label their nations as bigoted, prejudiced, and discriminatory, they stand against outdated traditions and religious extremes. They compare themselves with other modern nations and embrace popular trends like equal human rights, which they now view as a new religion. They realize how their politics of belonging have held them back while humanity has progressed.
The Iranian crisis, or revolution, fits into the subject of my blog. I want to clarify that I am not a political figure, nor do I intend to be. My writing reflects my thoughts and opinions. My goal is to simplify complex issues so that everyone can understand and become more moderate and accepting in today’s era. These are strictly my opinions. At my core, I am liberal and believe in our evolving nature, without constraints or boundaries on my imagination, despite being Muslim. I wholeheartedly believe in equality and individual human rights. These are my honest observations and explanations. It may be a game of power and control for the elite, but ordinary individuals become emotionally invested and are ready to give or take lives based on their beliefs. They believe they are doing God’s work, yet the suffering of children in Afghanistan or parents selling their children out of desperation tells a stark story.
Consider this: unlike our physical realities, such as the suffering of living, breathing individuals and collectively starving populations, God and religious beliefs are based on metaphorical realities. If you are willing to sacrifice living people for your metaphorical realities, you must remove the politics of belonging and focus on what reality is more important. Ask yourself what distinguishes physical from metaphorical realities. The easiest way to explain is to compare your physical life with your life after death. Regardless of existence, metaphorical realities cannot be explained in physical terms. Love, for example, can be felt but not easily explained or shown in physical form. We face challenges when modern individuals demand scientifically proven, repeatable results for everything. Reflect on where your emotions, like love and attachment to your groups or God, fit in. Starving children are a physical reality—regardless of any belief, get your facts straight and take responsibility.
God may or may not show up on demand to help you, and this has been a subject of disagreement for thousands of years. Yet progress and evolution continue without pause. If everyone could get whatever they wanted simply by asking God, everyone in religious institutions would have muscular bodies, and gyms would be obsolete. The motivation to work hard and evolve would disappear if everything were given by request. If religions were founded on true belief in God and free from political taint, things would be different, remaining in the spiritual realm where politics of belonging cannot infect individual spiritual values. Many religious beliefs have been tainted by group politics and motives. The impact of political agendas on religious beliefs affects how a society retains its individuals—whether powerful, in between, or powerless. Regardless of our inability to explain God as a physical reality, we can potentially benefit from having a true and spiritual belief system. We should respect our belief systems and God, but without politics of belonging, treating God as our metaphorical reality exclusively. You can only achieve this if you are strong enough to be the CEO of your own life.
If you accept that God is not a physical reality like a living, breathing person, disrespecting human life should be wrong from all spiritual perspectives. Spiritual actions should follow principles such as “Don’t do to others what you don’t want done to yourself or your loved ones.” “Always imagine yourself on the receiving end of your actions before committing them.” If you wouldn’t want to be in that situation, it is a spiritual crime, even if it is demanded by your religion. These simple rules are great, but when group politics come into play, things become complex. If you are under the influence of political belonging, things are not as simple. Especially for those not using their God-given powers of autonomy, they become natural-born or God-created CEOs of their lives.
Real spiritual truths are universal and easy to understand, but when political belonging overrides individual spirituality, it can lead you away from being part of humanity and one God. It can make you adhere to one of many religions with extreme emotional attachment, creating significant differences, animosity, hatred, bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination within humanity. Spiritually, we are all the same—we need oxygen, water, and food to live; we function similarly; we age, get old, and die the same way. So why do some believe they are better than others or that God is on their side? What makes us different is the politics of belonging, not God or spirituality. In the current era of equal human rights, things are changing rapidly. Technological, scientific, and medical advancements continue, and with the Pope’s apology, even religious fronts are evolving. Racism, nationalism, and related bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination are increasingly rejected. Traditional beliefs will eventually lose their grip.
Remember, when you use religion as a justice system, it’s like mixing politics and spirituality—a combination that has never worked well and never will. Our spirituality is connected to God, who represents our metaphorical reality. Without a solid and physical foundation for a justice system, you simply can’t enforce physical punishment in the name of a metaphorical reality. You cannot invoke or explain God as a physical reality, so the punished individual might reasonably ask you to bring God into a tangible form if you are inflicting physical punishment. It’s clear that politically tainted religious rules are not, and cannot be, spiritual. Spirituality loses its essence when mixed with politics. God and spirituality are universal, so they should remain separate from human political affiliations.
If you impose barbaric punishments for minor offenses to control societies while believing you are acting on behalf of God, remember that ruling through fear rather than educating people about spirituality is more a tactic from the political book of terror. I believe God has nothing to do with such practices, as connecting God to these actions could be considered a spiritual crime in itself.
Waging wars in the name of religion and God does not make spiritual sense. It robs physical reality in favor of metaphorical reality. As human beings, we should understand what is truly important regarding our physical and metaphorical realities. When people claim their religion is spiritually superior and label others as corrupt and godless, that is a prime example of politics rather than spirituality. It is not the religion itself but rather the individuals who convert spirituality into physical actions that define religious beliefs. Since religions have mixed politics with spirituality from the beginning, they have stripped their spiritual essence, rendering them ineffective in helping humanity. Even today, as we advocate for equal human rights, religions struggle to stand up for such spiritual ideals. They continue to be entangled in conflicts, often in the name of God or metaphorical differences.
If today’s religions are losing respect, it is not due to God, a lack of spirituality, or corrupt individuals. Rather, it is because they have sold their spiritual soul to the devil of political belonging. Just look at the numerous religious beliefs and the willingness to kill each other over differing doctrines. Why should we destroy each other’s physical reality over metaphorical differences? We still cannot physically present God, and we do not know God’s whereabouts. Religious beliefs have been infected by political motives, leading to violence for political purposes. God has been used as a political tool, overshadowing the true value of God and spiritual principles. Our political affiliations have eroded the importance of individual humanity, God, and the collective human experience. Despite this, we continue to divide humanity into smaller groups in the name of so-called peace, ignoring the spiritual education of the individual.
We are far from achieving true peace because we have not learned to respect the authority of our autonomy and the relevance of making individual choices free from political influence. Staying entrenched in political affiliations while in emotional limbo, coupled with advanced weaponry, is a recipe for disaster. Religious societies are struggling because they are not only burdened with spiritual and social issues but are also highly charged with emotions tied to metaphorical beliefs. Interestingly, secular societies with more socialism-related rules often have lower crime rates compared to religious ones. These secular societies show more compassion, generosity, and love for those in need. Why is this the case? If you investigate, you may not find religious extremism but rather spiritual principles in action. These societies provide open and boundless education, accepting and respecting individuals regardless of ethnicity, color, race, gender, nationality, or religious beliefs.
I have not understood why religious people make political choices that contradict their spiritual principles. For instance, opposing taxes, welfare, and universal healthcare seems ironic, given that spirituality emphasizes helping the needy. It is contradictory for religious individuals to oppose spiritual principles of reciprocation when they benefit from life’s essentials without control over them.
If my writing seems critical of politically biased groups, it is because I believe in the universality of spirituality, one God, and humanity as God’s hands in the physical world. Science and religions may explore ancient history, but I prefer to focus on the present era and avoid assumptions. Science talks about the Big Bang and the expansion of the universe, but the origins remain a mystery. Similarly, religious claims about God creating the universe in specific days are based on assumptions. I aim to stay in the present while avoiding assumptions.
There is nothing wrong with having a belief system as long as it keeps physical and metaphorical realities separate. If a belief system helps individuals live better lives without harming others, it is beneficial. Problems arise when people seek like-minded individuals to form political groups. This is highly political and can corrupt spiritual systems, including religions.
Let’s avoid delving into assumptions about the universe’s creation and focus on the value of the human individual in our spiritual context. Killing someone over their appearance, beliefs, or affiliations should be left behind as a steppingstone in our evolution. If you cannot change extreme behaviors, at the very least, learn to control your primal instincts and behave humanely. Do not dismiss others’ beliefs simply because they do not align with your own. Always consider how your actions affect others before committing them.
As human beings, we are evolving entities. We may not grow horns or wings, but we are continually evolving. If you live in the modern era, you have a long history behind you. We may be at different stages of evolution, but we have traversed numerous kingdoms, religions, and ideologies. Today, we seek equal human rights and reject bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination. We are born into an era that does not support kingdoms, dictatorships, autocracies, communism, socialism, or political religions. We prefer democracy, as evidenced by our historical experiments with these systems. Most of us desire freedom and equality, willing to grant them if we receive them equally.
As a society, our needs may differ, but as individuals, we seek freedom, which often calls for smaller government. Yet, when faced with crime, we want a strong government to protect us. In the U.S., people grapple with the desire for freedom and the need for security, as evidenced by the debate over gun control. While individuals should control their primal instincts, the reality is that mass shootings remain a routine issue. Most people want peace and are willing to pay taxes to strengthen protective measures. However, political divisions often cloud our understanding of the era we live in.
Religious beliefs are losing their grip because God does not appear on demand, and spiritual crimes committed in God’s name diminish His respect and value. Despite living in a democracy, people remain divided. We have yet to find perfect solutions for our social and spiritual issues. In my view, the key lies in education—more education for all individuals. The challenge is educating people to the point where they can effectively manage their lives. Questioning extreme behaviors, whether our own or others’, is crucial. Freedom can lead to mass murders, while oppression can spark widespread unrest. When modern technology clashes with traditional theology, especially in conservative societies, problems are inevitable. These societies are accustomed to following old traditions.
Metaphorically speaking, our curvy rail tracks are not suited for today’s speeding trains. Modern trains move like speeding bullets, leading to frequent individual and collective derailments. The unrest we experience today is related to our evolution, albeit at different rates and in various aspects of life.
As an individual, if you become a science or religious fanatic, it’s not necessarily because you know more. It’s often due to the politics surrounding your affiliations. Being a follower of science, you might excel in numbers and dimensions, but you could be lacking in understanding love, compassion, bravery, generosity, and other emotions that make a person a complete human being. Conversely, if you are stuck in religious beliefs and consider scientific advancements like blood transfusions and stem cells as ungodly, you are distancing yourself from true spirituality. Your adherence to religious beliefs does not necessarily mean you are closer to spirituality or saving lives. In fact, you might be missing the essence of spirituality.
You might think that you are doing the right thing by believing in God and following religious teachings. However, if you disregard human physicality and view it as irrelevant for political purposes, you are committing a significant spiritual injustice. You are not acknowledging the essential role of human physicality in translating spirituality into physical actions. Metaphorical realities must be converted into physical realities to be meaningful, and it is the living, breathing human individual who performs this translation. Without human physicality, things don’t work as well unless it’s a miracle—something that is rare and certainly not something to rely on.
If you disregard human physicality for political reasons, you are committing a spiritual crime. First, you are doing an injustice by not acknowledging their role in manifesting spirituality into physical action. Second, you are making human individuals irrelevant and, in doing so, putting God in a political dilemma. God needs human physicality to make things happen. If you think rejecting meaningful progress that saves human lives is somehow doing God a favor, you are mistaken. God is the one who embedded evolution within us. Today, if science is saving more lives than religions have taken, this is where science merges with spirituality, becoming more beneficial than our traditional religious practices. Therefore, as humanity, we should align our rail tracks to accommodate our speeding trains. If we fail to separate God from our political affiliations, we will end up disrespecting God.
We all come with evolution ingrained within us, and that is God’s will. Yet, many of us stand in the way. Reflect critically on your own beliefs and remove the politics of affiliation. You will discover that evolution is happening due to God’s blessings, simply because a human individual does not control their next breath.
Consider why we have thousands of religious beliefs if God is one. Why does God allow scientists to expand their knowledge and provide tangible results that benefit humanity and even save lives? Why do religions typically discourage exploring and following our evolutionary nature? This issue is not about God, spirituality, or humanity, but about individual insecurities created by our political groups. Therefore, the solution is to gain individual strength and recognize the politics behind our behaviors.
If a human individual carries an atom of autonomy, they are a crucial part of the divine picture. Imagine removing all human beings and ponder what would happen to God and the Devil. Would they carry the same weight or have any significance without humans? If you don’t question these ideas, you will always seek validation from your groups, which are inherently politically tainted. By delving deeper within yourself, you will uncover a new perspective. Our belief systems guide us towards understanding our spiritual side, which affects us all as human beings. Just as our physical sensations don’t arise without thought, our physicality needs spiritual guidance to navigate our time on earth.
If you exclusively live as a religious or scientific fanatic, you might miss out on the full experience of human life. Our nature cannot be completed from just one perspective, much like a light bulb cannot be lit with only one wire. Both positive and negative elements must be present to achieve the desired outcome. If you believe God is responsible for everything, you might not fully embrace your role as a human being. We are like notes written on a music sheet, and when it’s our turn, we must produce a sound to contribute to the divine melody. For example, a monk may hold a blank sheet. Imagine if all humans were monks—what would happen to our evolving nature? Alternatively, if you stress yourself trying to light a bulb with one wire, you miss out on progress.
What happened fourteen billion years ago may or may not be the complete truth, but questioning and seeking understanding helps make sense of it all. I believe in our evolving nature. I can accept scientific explanations but will also ask where the marble came from, why it exploded, or why it’s constantly expanding. Why reject the idea that God might be involved in all this? If you disagree, explain these assumptions better than religions do. If you blindly accept these assumptions, there’s little difference between science and religious beliefs.
There is nothing wrong with having religious, spiritual, scientific, or medical beliefs, or personal morality, ethics, and honesty. But if you are certain you are right and seek like-minded people to form a group, you become a political entity. Especially if you actively preach, recruit, and use your group’s strength to intimidate, influence, or wage wars, you are engaging in political manipulation. Our nature is to evolve, so our knowledge cannot be frozen in a particular era. Whether religious or not, there is no exclusive or frozen knowledge for humanity. Human beings are insecure and politically tainted, making them unreliable, especially regarding God, spirituality, and humanity as a whole.
If your group or you are using God politically, it is a spiritual crime. God cannot be connected to bigotry, prejudice, or discrimination. If a group goes to war over God and spirituality, they are treating God as if He were like a human being with human flaws. If we can separate our political affiliations from spirituality and refrain from using God for political purposes, we might find inner peace. External peace has been elusive for thousands of years because we have been taught to prioritize metaphorical realities over physical realities. From the beginning, we have faced injustice against individuals and opposing groups, and this persists even with the popularity of equal human rights. If we don’t adapt to our speeding trains and match their speed, people will lose respect for their religions and for God. Our political groups commit atrocities in the name of God and religion. Remember, in music, both notes and spaces are essential to create a harmonious rhythm. In this metaphor, humans are the notes, and God represents the spaces. Both are necessary to create a meaningful melody; otherwise, it’s either complete silence or nonstop noise without harmony. As thinking mortals, we need some silence for our rhythmic melody and peace of mind. The extreme silence preached by religions is not suitable for humans. It contradicts our evolutionary nature and neglects the need for action and happiness.
One of my clients struggled with their child, so I discussed the love triangle divided into three equal parts: passionate love, instinctive love, and universal love. Each corner of this triangle is equally important. If you are not the CEO of your life, you may be pulled in different directions, causing imbalance. Your spiritual side can help manage these natural urges. You need to nurture your spiritual side to balance your instincts and universal love. If you prioritize one aspect over another, especially universal love over personal connections, you are missing the mark. Our individual values and upbringing can disrupt this balance, so if you’re struggling in your love triangle, this insight might help.
A while ago, there was news about a woman named Susan Smith in the United States who claimed she was carjacked by a Black man. Yet, it was later revealed that she had drowned her own two children because her boyfriend did not want them. She prioritized her passionate love over her instinctive love. In another case, a Sikh family sent their daughter to India to get married, but she did not like the man they chose for her. Instead, she chose to marry a rickshaw driver. This decision drove her parents to madness, as their universal love overwhelmed them, leading them to ultimately have their daughter killed. Their universal love had overshadowed their instinctive love. This story is documented in a real-life documentary. Without individual balance, universal love has the potential to consume not only the individual but also society and humanity as a whole.
Iranians are currently grappling with this dilemma. As this is related to differences in opinions at the individual level, our societies will always be susceptible to conflicts. This is because some individuals place more value on metaphorical realities than physical ones. For instance, children represent our physical reality, while our religious beliefs and God are metaphorical realities. When someone prioritizes metaphorical realities over physical ones, they are often influenced by political or group affiliations. It is not that one reality is better or stronger than the other, but rather that personal weaknesses can cause disruption.
Remember, God created each person with their own atom of autonomy, which allows them to become the CEO of their own life. So why is there so much trouble? It’s because our belonging groups often politically brainwash individuals, making them believe and feel insecure, thus compelling them to adhere to the group and relinquish their personal power. Especially if someone has been influenced during their formative years, they might place universal love above their own self, neglecting even their loved ones. If you’ve been prioritizing your group over your family, you have a problem only you can solve, and that can only happen if you become the CEO of your life. If you feel weak and insecure without your group, you will likely place others above your own children or instinctive and passionate love.
It may ruffle some feathers, but to me, our physical realities must take precedence over our metaphorical ones. While belonging to a group, God, or mass might seem noble, spiritually, it is incorrect because it is political. Moreover, it makes God appear unjust. To me, spirituality and everything related to God should be upheld by pure justice. This applies whether it’s between individuals, between an individual and a group, or even between God and an individual. Justice must be paramount, especially if you wish to understand spirituality in its purest form. Most of our spiritual systems and religious beliefs place God above the individual, yet in reality, it is the individual who performs actions that give meaning to divine actions. So, if group politics can override individual rights, it is spiritually wrong because it connects God to human politics, which is a spiritual crime as it biases God.
Equal human rights lead us in the right direction, freeing God from being a politically biased or discriminatory entity. If your religion, sect, race, or nation promotes group politics, it is leading you away from your personal spiritual path rather than guiding you toward it. Remember, you carry your own atom of autonomy and are responsible for your personal spirituality. If you take on the role of a CEO and manage all other areas of your life, why not manage the spiritual department as well? By understanding honest reciprocation, you won’t fear hell or covet heaven. Own your actions so you can believe you don’t need to hide behind a group to achieve spiritual fulfillment. Logically, a mortal human being has no security. You are responsible not only for your actions but also for evaluating the politics of your group. Hiding behind your group or even God and Devil does not work for a being with free will and a personal sense of justice. By becoming aware of your atom of autonomy and related responsibilities, you can achieve internal and external peace. If you can separate politics from spirituality, you will balance this love triangle. A balanced individual can see how politics have robbed individuals and other groups of their rights.
Recently, the Pope apologized for the wrongs committed by his religion against Canadian Natives to address past wounds. Why can’t this happen in other religions or nations? Today is about equal human rights, so why can’t we question our groups to change their rhetoric and focus on healing instead of dwelling on past grievances? Can equal human rights address past political disputes? When it comes to our religions, we often think it’s all God’s will and that human beings are irrelevant. My blog aims to clarify these confusions, regardless of how many people resist it. Remember, we were not created like other genetically programmed creatures; otherwise, our evolution would be similar to theirs. If we reflect on why we are what we are today, it could lead us to even better places. If we move beyond group politics and embrace humanity as a whole, we can achieve unprecedented progress. For instance, if we stop waging wars, imagine how much money could be redirected to combat poverty and disease. If you can’t envision this, be prepared for potential nuclear disasters. Our current paths are leading us toward scenarios predicted in our holy books.
While nations and religions often believe that competition fosters progress, killing each other to get ahead is not healthy for humanity, especially when considering our spiritual nature. Without our spiritual side, we might still be living in caves or jungles. All progress has stemmed from our evolving spirituality. Our physical form remains unchanged; we haven’t grown wings or claws, yet we live in high-rises, fly in planes, and dig deeper than any creature with claws. We need to understand who we truly are. While we may still kill each other, the nature of conflict has evolved. Modern weaponry can indiscriminately destroy, potentially rendering even concepts of God and Devil impotent.
