BC fires reminded me to relate our recent racism spike. At first they were small and spread out, but lately they have merged into a large and out of control fire. Since politics is a dirty game, people want to gain power regardless of the price you have to pay. If you have to please a group of people whom help you to get in the office, you will have to sell your soul and become spiritually bankrupt.
Forest fires are part of life, so is the corrupt politics, just like the racism, never desired, but always in our face. Should you stand with or against the racism, either way you can only change it, if you look at the things logically.
Here is how I look at the racism, and prejudice.
All the security related differences come out if you don’t look at yourself as a human being belonging to a whole humanity. If you look at yourself as an extension of an ideology, part of gang, race, nation or a religion, you may politically hide your racism and prejudice, but whenever you are squeezed they will show up whether you like it or not.
There would always be people with the differences of opinion. The only way you can overcome the passionate divisions, is with compassion. Compassion comes easily if you are in it, for the whole humanity and see God in the next person as you feel within yourself.
Dr. Wayne Dyer a well known guru said. I am not sure these are the right words but the idea is there and I “Quote” “If you squeeze an apple only the apple juice would come out, you can’t get an orange juice from an apple or apple juice from an orange”. End Quote.
When you are squeezed what do you have inside of you, will come out. If you are a passionate person for your belonging group, you have the potential to become a racist, ignorant or even a suicide bomber, you will be prejudiced against the others, regardless of your color, race, gender nationality or religion. If you carry compassionate sense of justice and feel that you are scientifically, genetically and spiritually a human being, belonging to humanity as a whole, you would over come your sense of belonging related confusions and call the spade is a spade when it needs to be.
Sure not everyone would agree with me, because of religious beliefs, my main purpose is not to put a doubt in someone’s spiritual belief system. I want everyone to know that a political religion is a dangerous one, so it is not kosher to kill in the name of religion or God because it is literally against the spirituality. Spiritually, you don’t do to anyone, what you don’t like done to you . Since we are an evolving organism we just can’t be locked into or have freezing caps, on our any kind of knowledge. Where did the prejudice come from? how did we become racist? As babies we don’t discriminate, this should be a good enough proof of our installed knowledge as the causes. Now lets look at our installed knowledge.
Lets go to the fundamentals of it. These are the top ten yes and nos.
1-If you are cut you bleed the stuff which can be a life saver to all kind of human beings. This blood transfusion has the potential to save, regardless of its source, black, white, yellow, brown, mixed, gay or trans.
2-You can’t save a human life with other creatures blood.(Yes)
3-Do you get hungry, and eat similar foods just like everyone else. (Yes)
4-You have to poop and piss which stinks just like everyone else. (Yes)
5-You get sick, old and die just like everyone else. (Yes)
6-If you are white or black and have sex with the other would the girl get pregnant and have perfectly functioning baby. (Yes)
7-Are you scientifically made of carbon. (Yes)
8-Do you need oxygen to live just like everyone else. (Yes)
9-Do you use your free will everyday just like everyone else. (Yes)
10-Do you believe we have a space station up there and it is year 2017. (Yes).
And now I have the nos.
1-Do you think you are immortal. (No)
2-Do you have control on the oxygen you breath to live. (No)
3-Do you have control what goes on in the space. (No)
4-Do you have total control what goes on in the Inner space, I mean the body. (No)
5-Do you feel that your belonging group, nation, religion, race, gender or family can help you avoid death. (No)
6-If you are learning something new everyday, you are an evolving organism, do you really think that your knowledge is complete. (No)
7-Do you think being Muslim, Christian, or Jew is good enough reason to take you to heaven. (No)
8-Do you know everything about God, heaven and hell, do you have any evidence other than the taught belief system, I mean some video footage or some internet connection etc. etc and I am not talking about the movies like Harry Potter (No)
9-Do you really believe that you are superior to others just because of the color of your skin. (No)
10-Do you think religious people have more compassion than others. (No)._________ Just imagine a black bear comes to your door, it is not unheard of, it just recently was in the news. Any way the bear comes to your door and tells you, in your language to get out of my house. You may call 911and have the bear killed, yet realistically you have bought a piece of land in the bear’s territory. Who sold it you? Another human being whom bought it from someone else, or the government of your belonging group. Long story short bear was there first, now does it give him the right to own that piece of land? For some it may be, because that is what we are taught by our governing systems. The problem is that including us, all living things are mortal. You and the bear as well, so logically we would only live on the land for certain length of time, which makes us all renters not the owners.
When and how did the things changed? I was walking by the cemetery and saw a grave stone which makes grave over two hundred years old. Meaning that dead person is owning that piece of land even after his/her death. No other creature can do that.
When you have a problem, you have to see it as a problem first. Living people are homeless yet a dead one, even after hundreds of years have home. Personally it just does not make sense to me, but I am living in a time which may change as we develop problems with our living spaces. Emotional issues can only be over come by logical thinking, you can’t put the firs of emotions with emotions.
The owning is related with the governing authorities to keep peace and protect the weak ones from the aggressors but how far you want to take this, is the question.
The glob has no natural lines of divided land yet we have over 200 hundred countries with seven billion human beings and God knows how many other creatures.
We are still fighting over the system of owning. An aggressor can conquer a country to own everything and everyone in it. The question is, is that right? If your answer is yes, you are living in the past. If you are keeping up with today’s world, you should remember slavery is a crime these days, and yes its in all over the world.
Back to the bear, since you have bought a piece of land in bear’s territory, which he does not really own, or you think it is yours, because you have bought it, so you discredit bear’s claim. In your opinion bears don’t or can’t own a piece of land. To you he just claims that because he thinks he is able to kill you. Bear does not realize what you are, and how things function in your world.
So you took over a piece of land in bear’s territory yet got him killed because of your security. What would happen if you start to look at it with the bear’s point of view?
This is the problem, as humanity we have faced throughout our past history and are still facing it. One can say this is my land but is it really? The systems of human governing have never been fool proof, still these days and our past history as well has been carrying black marks of human rights violations and robbing others of their rights. The reason is that we are still in the process of evolution. There would always be differences in our opinions, whether it be race, gender, nationalism or religions, we just can’t come together under one umbrella, this is the nature of the beast inside all of us.
Just recently teachers association has requested to remove Canada’s first prime minister name from all schools. This is not a problem unless you start to look at it as a human rights issue.
Today Canada has changed so we all need to change with it, but past history should be treated as past so we don’t repeat our mistakes. At his time he did according to the best of his knowledge. Most of us are still stuck in the politics of sense of belonging to our belonging groups, just look at our sports nationalism and religions. We need to give our ancestors a break and respect them as they were. Every nation and religion has some black marks on their faces so we can’t really judge the past, but we can learn from it so we don’t repeat it. I would not be surprised if you elect the conservatives they would rather glorify the past instead of working to reconcile. Now in today’s life its all about the human rights and equality, so group politics has to take a back seat of the past. If one group wants to get even or get back to the other is wrong as well, because it is the same old song. It should be for the evolution exclusively so we don’t violate anyone’s human rights in the name of the kingdom, nation, race, gender or religion like residential schools. Our governing politics should be over and above of any belonging group.
So far equal human rights and democracy are the best humanity has to offer, but it has its short comings as well. One of the main problem is that we go back and forth with our evolution by electing the opposite groups. Personally I believe there should be a council or constitution which can guard the evolution, so no one can back track regardless of who is in power.
Our religions have been around for thousands of years to preach compassion and push us to become a human being and not to act like an animal. For sure it has not worked, because when you look at the extremists, they kill each other with passion yet without discrimination of guilt. Compassion can’t be found in the speeches of politically charged religious leaders. This day and age a young student was killed in Pakistan by a mob, just for having a difference of opinion. Sure I am not in Pakistan and don’t know their politics but it is painful to watch the human rights violation to this degree, no judge, jury or chance for a lawyer just straight death penalty.
Human rights should be governed by the governments as well as international authorities, no one should kill or be killed because of their belief system. I believe if a religion is pure spiritual no one would disrespect it, they have lost respect because they have mixed politics into spirituality.
Religious extreme is based on the politics of strong and out of control sense of belonging to their belonging groups. That means, it is the individual’s responsibility to control his/her urges, or pay the price just like any other crime. After two thousand years, if a system has not succeeded, when would the individual learn, that there is a major problem with the individual him/herself. Why is that, that he/she can’t see the sense of responsibility when it comes to the politics of sense of belonging by God human individual is not that weak.
A human cell does not have eyes or brain and for sure does not look like the whole human body, but it has the life force which instinctively knows that, it has to stick to the body to get life giving nutrients and oxygen to survive. It has to reciprocate to work for the body’s well being as well because survival of both depends on the functioning of both. It may not be able to see the body as a whole but it has the ability to sense the connection. That is how much we know about God. Does God look like a human being? This question can’t be answered without the assumptions. Most of us can feel the connection in our own ways, but reality is, no one really knows, but one fact is known that as human beings we are able to create things to make our and our coming generations life easier. To me its a gift from God, which keeps on coming yet never understood. Human individual can think its done by him/herself, indirectly yes but really, how can you claim that if you are dependent on the oxygen? So things need to be put in perspective by all of us individually.
Mixing politics with spirituality is like oil and water, no matter how hard you try or no matter which way you cut it, you just can’t mix them together. You have to choose one for compassionate reciprocation and other for governing in all the changing times. Sure we all want the compassion in the governing systems as well but especially compassion should rule all religions as they were meant to bring us out of animal hood to humanity. In reality no one can count the death toll from the religious extreme and this is not a very good example of compassion.
Religion is a belief system, and each and everyone of us has different level of the beliefs, even being a part of the same belief system. If one is passionate about the religion, which usually is the case, he/she still is responsible to live in a society according to the days of today. You can’t deny your children a blood transfusion or can’t have hundreds of wives and children, simply you can go to jail for that. Times have been changing politically, technologically and scientifically so we need to comply with the people around, thus we can’t force our belief systems to even our own kids because of the equal human rights.
Islam brought the equality to India yet just can’t get rid of the prejudice with in. Shia and Sunny have been fighting and killing each other for centuries. This even pushes us further in bigotry and prejudice. In spiritual world these two don’t exist because equal human rights is the first order, just like, “don’t do to anyone what you don’t like done to you”.
When we started to kill lions and bears with our guns, we used them against each other as well but with the fire of religion we kill each other in the name of God yet as an evolved human being. We divided the land in small pieces just like the bears and lions in the name of security but it is from our own kind, yet the kicker is that we live in 2017 and it is going fast. We have nuclear bombs, chemicals and computerized weapons of mass destruction. We display them proudly and threaten each other to use them regardless of the knowledge of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
We have been evolving in all areas of life other than religions, and it is because of the certain segment of the population which wants to take us back to that time when religions started. This would be a good question to ask why? If someone thinks that past was a good time present is bad and future is dangerous, yet in actuality present makes both of them, believing past was better is just plain ignorance because we did not even have water to clean ourselves.
Back to the bear, if a bear is a threat, it needs to be killed just because of our security. Security from a wild animal is attainable, if you are smart like a human being but what to do, for the security from the other human beings? Should we kill them as well or solve it with compassionate knowledge, we already have justice system and jails. YET
Every second of the day there is a crime being committed against the human individual by the other human being, mostly by the member of their own belonging groups. This is a reality of the streets of the world. Interestingly, we still want our belonging group to be in power to rule the world. From murder to simple robbery and everything in between including conquering the other nations for resources is a proof of our prejudice.
This prejudice is not for security, it is a knowledge openly taught at home to be superior to others by most families, communities, nations and religions.
A human being is not superior or inferior to each other spiritually, the proof is in the pudding, we all get old, sick and die the same way, we get hurt from the same things whether its physical or emotional. Love loss hurts us all the same way, which means we all are connected like an organism or should I need to say as a humanity. If we have to secure ourselves from the bears and lions we use our smarts with weapons, but when it comes to security from other human beings we need to use compassion as well. Just watch these days we don’t even kill the animals, we have a polar bear jail in Churchill, a jail without court but still with some compassion.
